Just got back from NYC and have had to catch up on all of the posts...
We had a blast and things were a little wet and windy in the city but fun to go away with out the kids and have a nice dinner in peace..

Oh Deanna I am soo jealous.. I thought that Disney on Ice was coming here even got tickets to what I thought it was and it turned out to be Monsters, INC....So needless to say the tickets are going back..for a refund...My girls would kill to see that show...I have read on the boards here that the show is great.. Check out the threads about it...they rave about it...

Who ever gets to deck 9 last is buying!

60 degrees sure beats the 16 degree temp I am enjoying, although we are having a mild winter, so I can't complain. Here is the recipe

Konk Cooler
Castaway Cay

one 12oz can frozen pina colada mix
3 ounces light rum
3 ounces dark rum
1/2 of a 12oz can frozen passion fruit juice concentrate(Welches)
4 oz of orange juice
2-3 cups of ice

Living in the north and not having access to all the good Welches concentrate year round, I have used "Grape Passion Fruit" as a substitute. It works just as good, if you can get past the color

And another thing, bring your key to the world card, because I won't be the last on deck 9

Thanks for bringing back the painful memories of that disappearing waiter, I had almost forgot about that.

Katie and I were just talking about that St. Maarten Rum, I am going to have to seriously consider bringing some of that home this time. I can't believe how good that was.

Well, it varies by how many different userids you post under. If you keep posting under your wife's aliases, it might take you a while!

I think it was only 10 the last time I checked (when I signed up). I went to the test forum and posted test messages until it let me put a link in one

Well it is hard to not post under her ids, she has so many. If ten is the number, I am free at last, expect a link to something worthless soon!!

Has anyone ever done the St. John Trunk Bay Beach & Snorkel Tour Excursion before? If so, would you recommend it? How much time is lost in traveling from St. Thomas to St. Johns? We think it sounds like fun, but DW thinks we would lose a lot of time in going between the islands.

I thought we could use a bump back to our righful spot on the first page. And, yes it is really me and not Goofy Drives a Car!

I have not done it while on a cruise..But Dh and another couple did it about 6 years ago while celebrating our five year anniversary in St. thomas..It does take a while to get to St.John about an hour in a half if the ocean is cooperating..on the way back it was shorter something to do with the wind, etc....so that said it is a really great thing to see Trunk Bay beautiful etc....worth the trip in my mind.....if your kids are older I forgot how old you said and they will tolerate the trip then do it...well worth it...

I was telling Dh about your dilemma about Trunk Bay...He says go for it...But wanted to know if your kids were good swimmers...If they are he says well worth it go for it...SInce they have great snorkeling...

We just booked our third DCL cruise last week. We are staying in a Cat 9 room, our first time sailing without a verandah! The prices have gone up so much, it was hard to justify it...........so far!!
It is myself, my dh, our 2 dd's 13 and 11, my friends dd's 18, 13, and my sister and my neice who is 15.

My dh wanted to do the Eastern again as he just loved St. Martin and the 3 sea days.......and the duty free liquor

It should be a fun week sailing on Halloween.........Hope to chat with you soon!
