Okay, I didn't know where else on the forum to ask this question, so here goes...
I want to recreate as a Halloween costume the live Army men seen at Disney-MGM Studios. The ones from Toy Story. I just thought they were so cool. Anyway, gathering most of the stuff needed hasn't been a problem, but I cannot figure out how they created the shiny latex look of the clothing. Nor have I been able to tell what they wear on their faces. I don't think it's green paint. But what?
Does anyone have clues to help?
Does anyone know someone at WDW imagineering that works with costumes?
Is anyone going to MGM in the next week that can snap me a couple of closeup digital shots?
Thanks!

Those guys are great looking. I can't help you with what they wear on their faces, but for the clothes, I know they sell a clear iron-on vinyl in fabric stores that is used to make rain slickers or table cloths. I would think that this iorned on the material you would use to make the clothes might work out. Good Luck:D

For there face it looks to me like green pantyhose or tights. My son also wants to be a green army man but I talked him into some army pants and shirts and got him walkie talkies. He is only four but I would love to see your finished costume for other years!!
