Halloween/Christmas planning

Hello! I'd love to take my family to WDW to see a change from Halloween to Christmas decorations in the same trip. However, I seem unable to find a firm answer of when that will be. I posted to WDW chat and received the response that "We do not normally mention when decorations will be changing between seasons, we suggest planning to visit near the end of October if you with to maybe have a chance of seeing decorations change."

Does anyone know historically when the change happens? Thank you!
