It is DD1's 7th birthday this Hallowe'en.

The plan at the moment is

Breakfast at CRT (praying for an elusive PS), failing that Princess Storybook Breakfast at Epcot

MNSSHP in the evening.

Does anyone have any suggestions for something special in between ?

For Hallowe'en in the States do children dress up in normal fancy dress or more scary stuff like here ? ( I seem to remember reading somewhere that itwasn't so scary!)

Thanks

Halloween costumes over here for children run the gamut, from very scary to fancy girlie costumes. Most seven-year-old girls wear princess-like costumes. Any of the Disney princess outfits would be perfect, but you definitely must have one--she'd feel left out otherwise.

As a special gift, cookie bouquets are neat. I'm ordering one for my brother's 40th today. PM me for info on that.

Here's an example:

As you will be up early and up late that day. How about some 'down time' in the afternoon....mini golf, swimming etc.

Your DD will be a lovely Princess at MNSSHP :D

Down time is definitely a good plan (DD2 is only 2 so will need to sleep at some stage) that's why I'm toying with the idea of booking WL or CR for the night so we haven't got too far to go to relax and then maybe an early birthday dinner at Chef Mickey's before MNSSHP ?

CR sounds good with Chef Mickeys before you go to MNSSHP. Where are you staying? Which MNSSHP are you going too?

:D

We have a villa down near Davenport Lakes until 2nd November then we're hitting the Poly for 3 nights.

DD1's birthday is on Oct 31st (actually on Hallowe'en) so I'm tryingto justify the expense of another night onsite. It just seems like a nice treat for her and with MK being so busy that night it'd be easier staying onsite for MNSSHP.

That would be lovely if you stay that night on-site :D What a lovely Birthday treat for your daughter!

WL - wodds view or CR garden wing ?

Prices I've been quoted are pretty much the same.

How do the two resorts compare ?
