Halloween at DLP

So I just realized / learned that DLP will be decorated for halloween and will have special meets and parades throughout the month of October. Can anyone who has been at that time of year tell me what it is like? I would love to meet some of the villains as well as Jack and Sally! I'm having a hard time finding detailed information online about how it all works.

We've been at Halloween a couple of times now and are going back this year - 62 days to be exact! You can read my trip report and see some photos on the link in my signature - I seen an announcment on Twitter recently saying that the decorations and parardes etc will be pretty much the same this year as they were last year.

Another question... when it gets closer to October, will they provide more detailed information with what time the character meets and halloween parades are? Or will I need to wait until the times guide comes out? I want to plan it so we are able to see and do everything halloween related

87 days here!

I don't know when the programme info will be out but I do know that the halloween parade will be on a few times a day. The villains M&Gs have moved to the Royal castle stage but again no times yet.

There should be an official announcement soon of what's going to be on, likely to be very similar to last year based on Disney Central Plaza (French site). The actual schedule probably won't come out until about a week before so you'll be able to judge it from that. Timings are generally the same throughout the season except weekends. Last years schedule might be on dlp guide. Sorry on my phone just now but will try to link later

Thanks friends! I want to have it all planned out before we go so we can make the most of the day! I'm so used to the WDW info coming out so far in advance so not having the detailed info already is making me a little crazy.

Yes there is only one now. We used to have several MNSSHP(for all the family but especially children) and 2 Terrorific nights (over in the WDS for 13+) and the Halloween party on the 31st.

Have to say though, that the people who did dress up tended to arrive after dark!

When we strolled up main street at about 4pm, we were definitely in the minority, and had some very interesting looks....quite a unique experience
