Hi Everyone, I was just wondering if any of you went to Mickey's Halloween Treat last year and what it was like? we are considering going this year but are not sure what it will be like. We went to Disneyworld's Mickey's Not So Scarry Halloween party last year and it was AMAZING but I'm sure Disneyland will have some great stuff too. Thanks everyone!

We went last year and had a lot of fun. :) I've heard it doesn't compare to MNSSHP, but I have never been, so I can't compare.

They had treat stations set up around the park where they gave out candy or healthy snacks (apples, raisins, carrots). Most of the rides were open, and the lines were nice and short because it is a ticketed event, so the park isn't crowded. They had spots all over the park with characters where you could get your pics/autographs. Some of the characters even wore costumes, which was cute!

There was also some live music and dancing, and at the end of the night, there was a little parade/show with all of the Disney characters.

We went to both MNSSHP and MHT on Halloween last year. My 4 yo daughter had fun at both. MHT is not as elaborate as MNSSHP but still a lot of fun. There aren't as many activities, character interactions and the park is smaller. They have a lot of treat stations. Unlike the stops at MK right outside of the rides, some of the waiting areas for rides are turned into multiple treat stations. My daughter liked that. The lines for pictures with Mickey and Minnie were too long so we didn't bother. The dance party they had with characters were less well known eg Clarabelle Cow, and a chicken I didn't recognize. Nothing like dancing with Lilo, Stitch and Pluto at MNSSHP. It didn't matter to my daughter or me though, as I had fun watching her have fun. The difference between the two is pretty much like the difference between WDW and DL, things are on a smaller scale since it's a smaller park but still very Disney and lots of fun. If you keep that in mind, you should still have fun. We are going to MHT again this year. Hope this helps!
