I'm still waiting for my stateroom number. I can't believe its taking this long, but trust me the moment I find out I'll let everyone know!

Enjoying this warm weather. We have been real busy this week. I've attempted to start packing. I've narrowed my outfits down to 18 shorts/capris and 62 tops...lol. I still have alot of narrowing to do! After 6 cruises you'd think I'd learn. I always say I'll pack light but it never works.

Yeah Tigers!!!!! Finally in playoffs after alot of years!!
Just got done with my Grandsons autograph pillowcases.. They are going to be so surprised. They turned out so cool. Kind of wish we had a girl too, cause the fabrics are so cute..
This cruise packing 1/2 the amount as last time. Brought home more clean cloths then dirty. Took 8 pr. shoes, only wore 3 pr... It is getting so close, I can smell the ocean breeze!!

Question for those experienced with pillowcase autographs--I've read in some places that people use needlepoint or quilting rings (not sure what those are, but I'll figure it out) when getting autographs of characters in the parks to stretch out the fabric and make it easier to sign. Do you all have a recommendation on whether it's a good idea to include those when turning in pillowcases on the cruise? Or maybe something stiff to put in the middle like cardboard? Or does it even matter (maybe they already have something like that in their "signing area")?

Cricketmom--thanks for your message! I can't reply because I don't have enough posts yet but I appreciate your advice. I already bought all my supplies but those pillowcases are so cute!

If anyone has any other advice, I'd love to hear it. I'm a total newbie on these things! Thanks all.

Morning all and Happy Friday


Well its going to be another nice warm day here 82 out and I'm stuck in this office the majority of the day that is just wrong!!!!

So anyone have any big plans for the weekend? I'm trying to get Wally to trim a couple of bushes that are in front of our house. We were actually going to remove them this year, never got to that, they are so big, they are covering most of our front window, and I hate it and want them at lest trimmed down until spring when we can remove them. So hopefully I can convience him to to it this weekend as the next couple of weekends we will need to get the rest of the yard done.

Good Morning Everyone!!

Still in hospital waiting for insurance company to try to figure out where I can do my in patient rehab. My feet and legs are feeling stronger though.

I cannot wait for vacay to start. We only 20 til we leave for WDW. My surgeuon told me that I cannot commando the parks this visit and will have to take it slow. Good thing that WDW is all about the details and I tend to miss those when I am racing from attraction to attraction. So this will be a very different kind of vacation. Also I won't be able to ride most of the thrill rides, Space Mountain, EE, Test Track. Oh well, at least they are letting me go.

That is a total of 21 cabins. I thought that ACOURTWDW, NYANA and SUMLEE's parents were participating and had their cabins counted individually? If not that is probably why my count is so off. I have made some extras just in case.

I am the one that is making all the FE gifts for everyone participating in FE gift giving and those that missed the deadline... and I am making one per person... or at least that is my goal. I am done with all the kids gifts and tomorrow I will continue working on the adult FE gifts.

Everyone linked her as us and her fish extender stayed empty all cruise except one time even though she did her own gifts.


Started going through my clothes today...so grim. Guess i should have lost the weight like I planned Oh well, hope to have enough for 4 nights of dinner, since that is all we are doing

Hi Kamgen,

I bought a Fish Extender for my parents too just in case some people do what I am doing, which is to make gifts for EACH person and not one per cabin. I sure hope they do get something in their FE since my mom is very involved in what I am making. She is a seamstress and has been the one giving me ideas for the gifts. But I understand if they don't get much since some people are doing one per cabin. But I thought it would equal out since I am getting everyone a gift.

Hi NYAna.
I am Kamgen's Mom and I have my own FE and my own gifts!
What I do, is if there is a FE on the door then a gift goes in. Last cruise I did 1 gift per day, but this cruise is 7 days. Way too expensive for my SS Disability check.
I am doing 2 days, I don't know which days, but 2. So your parents will get 2 gifts.
If there are kids, then they get their own gift, not just per cabin. It gets confusing, but it all works out in the end..
