Yes, that is how you do it. But we are getting close to our cruise date and I know she had timing requirements. I paid for mine and immediately sent her my fabric choices and what I wanted on the pockets. She does awesome work.

Great! Thanks! Just ordered mine. We are just over 30 days away and that is her request so I hope to get it on time. I'm also having it mailed to my mother in Miami so that gives me an extra day just in case it's cut really close on delivery time.

Hello all, my name is Bill. My DW is Carol and our DS Stephen (6) are going to book this cruise tomorrow. This will be our first cruise and our first Disney experience as a family. We were booked on the Dream last May but we had an unfortunate accident. It was 7 pm, I had just closed our car trunk and walked across the street to tell the neighbors that we would be leaving at 5 am in the morning. Stephen hopped on his new bike and had an accident; lacerated his spleen, and our cruise ended up with us in the Hospital for the week. The hardest part of it all for Stephen was not getting to meet Mickey.
He still comes up to me and says "Daddy, my tummy doesn't hurt anymore...are we meeting Mickey tomorrow?" It just breaks my heart.

We had ordered an FE from Gradysmom on Ebay and it is really nice. We had over 50 cabins worth of FE gifts ready and no where to go with them. I understand that we are too late to sign onto your FE list. We will be putting up our FE on the door and just placing a new toy for Stephen in it each day. We will also drop off some of our Dream FE gifts into any that we see along the way. Stephen was a large part of the selection of our FE and was really looking forward to giving gifts away. He picked the names and pictures on it...I am "Daddy D'oh", Carol is "MommytheMean", and he is "StephenTheBrave". We were really into the pirate theme.

I need to catch up on this thread and see about any meets and the like. We will be the family wearing the Disney Dork's shirt when we board.

So I think everyone is really looking to get this trip going. Altho, we are looking forward to it, yet, dont want it to come too fast, as it will be over in a blink of an eye....

Skyman, my Skylar is very excited about meeting another Skyler. She's never meet another person with her name and thinks it's "coooooool" that there is a man with the name. I have to remind her that when I picked her name I thought I was having a boy.When the doctor's came back and told me that it was going to be a girl it was too late, I had become so attached to the name and couldn't change it. Lucky for her it's a unisex name. Imagine if it were something like William or Kevin...

We are all booked and paid for. We are VGT GTY, so we do not have a cabin number yet. I will post it as soon as we get it. We are staying at All Star Movies the night before the cruise and taking the Disney transportation to port. I understand that they get to Port around 1 or so in the afternoon. We plan on attending the meet and greet.

Tell me more about the postcard exchange, I am confused what it is. I have not heard of one before.

Postcard exchange - to participate you need to purchase postcards from your local area, sign them any way you would like and distribute to the rest of the postcard exchange group while we are on thye cruise. Please send me a PM if you are interested - I will close the list October 1st and send out PM's to everyone particpating on October 2nd. /COLOR]

Well, 4 weeks from today I will be at Wilderness Lodge getting ready to head to the Magic Kingdom. Can't wait! Nothing much to report from here.

I was so lazy yesterday--- didnt even go to the gym--guess that's 1 lb I won't loose before the cruise--oh well!
Did anyone else book a dolphin swim or have you done it before? It should be lots od fun but I am a little nervous

We put our e-mail and our specs in the comment section of the order in eBay; however, eBay truncated our comment, so she had to get back to us via e-mail to get the whole message. We're anxiously awaiting the FE now.

Kathie, I did the dolphine "encounter" back in 2008 in cozumel.....I totally enjoyed it, but did wish that I had paid the extra and did the "swim"...so I think if you do the swim you should totally enjoy it.....the place its at is really nice there....

Hi Kathie,

NP, I know my daughter is completely over the moon about giving out gifts while we are on the cruise and we prepared a couple extra just in case.

We are spending the week before between Condos at Summer Bay and All Star Movies and she is upset that we can't give out gifts while there too!

This is our first cruise and I just booked our few excursions. We are doing the submarine tour in Grand Cayman and the Dolphin excursion while in Cozumel. If we have enough time we would like to do the train/trolley ride while in Grand Cayman. There have been lots of positive reviews about it and we thought it would be a fun experience while there.

DH and I have Palo dinner schedule on Key West night but if they decide to do Halloween that night I will have to cancel as my daughter will never forgive me if she doesn't get to do all the trick or treating and parties. Really wish Disney would let us know what they are going to do soon. Hard not knowing.

Can't believe the cruise is now down to 30 days!!!

I finished all the work I needed to do before the fiscal year ends on Friday. I'll be taking the next two days off to drive up to Massachusetts for a reunion of ex-employees of one of my previous employers. I haven't been up there since 1996, and I left the company in 1999, so it's been a while.

I also had another follow-up with my eye doctor. My eyes aren't nearly back to where they were before my diabetes treatment began to be effective, but they're getting there. We discussed the possibility of contact lenses for the trip, so I have another appointment for the Monday before we leave. He also wants me to have my retinas mapped in 3D, which involves seeing a specialist. I need to check with my insurance to see if it is covered (which means I want to do it this calendar year) or not (which means putting extra in our health flex plan and waiting until next calendar year).

I also ordered my tuxedo this morning, so I'm committed to Formal Night.
