With so many threads floating around about Halloween at the Fort this year a poster put down the schedule in one of those (thanks PatriciaH) but I thought I would give it its own thread so it would be easier to spot and get the word out. Bama ED

Ed,
You might want to make one small correction on that info. I noticed that on the third day of events, it states 10/31, Sunday -- Should read 10/31, Monday. Might confuse a few people.

Thanks rapriebe will do.

Pooka jean, I will be sure to add the parade time once we know it.

Thanks for the catch, both of you.

I called today and CM Rachael didn't see the golf cart parade on the first two lists she looked at but ultimately called it for 6 p.m. the night of Halloween.

Can anybody live stream it while I'm home handing out candy? :woohoo:

That's right but it wasn't on Halloween Night! I wish they had it on Sunday...more people would be able to participate because of it being on a Monday this year (school day)

I will be there for Halloween and can't wait - a yearly thing for us. Actually going next Wednesday.
I thought I remembered the golf cart parade being the night before trick or treat. It seems kinda hard to have both the same night with so many people out and about for trick or treat.
I hope it is the night before...

Yes I know it was posted that it was on Halloween day but in the past hasn't always been the day before?

Last year was certainly the day before Halloween according to the 2010 schedule which still may be on the Dis. That is true.

If anyone hears otherwise for THIS year let us know.

But you will still have a great time at the MK on Halloween night though I bet.

Hey Ed,
I might be doing the same thing as you; handing out candy at home. We have had several RV dealers trying to locate a 2009-2011 Phaeton MH (for almost a year) and we received a call last night that one of them has a 2010 Phaeton coming into their dealership on Wednesday as a trade-in. It's not the exact model we want but it's our second choice. We were suppose to head south on that day instead it looks like we will be heading north towards DC to check it out. These sell so quickly that it's really difficult to locate one so I don't want to miss out. We love our "Winnie" (as we call her) but really want to get a larger diesel.

We were having other family members coming to tent camp with us so now it looks like they will be able to bring their trailer and have the site all to themselves. Oh well, I guess we'll just be there later, maybe?? hopefully? Just goin' to have to wing it.

Well good luck with the RV inspection rapriebe!

Hope you like it and take it home. :car:
