Halloween 2003 Wilderness Lodge

Planning trip to our DVC home this Halloween season. Does anyone have information on any holiday events that might be going on at the lodge during this time? Both for adults and kids alike. Thanks.

We stayed at WL over Halloween in October, 2001. At that time I don't recall any specific Halloween events at the lodge, but it was decorated very nicely for fall. They do have hayrides in the evening that you can participate in. I forget the cost, but it was affordable. I have to go back and search through all my stuff from that trip and see if anything else was planned. If I find it I will repost.

My mom and I were at the Wilderness Lodge this past Halloween and had a terrific time!! It was my first stay there, so I don't know a lot about what could have been different from the rest of the year, but...
1. there were cute little Halloween candies at the front desk upon check-in
2. there were pumpkins/corn/etc. around the fireplaces (I don't know if this stuff is there year-round)
3. there were pumpkins displayed at the Whispering Canyon Cafe
4. do the Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party!! The boat ride from the Lodge to the exclusive party was unforgettable, spooky, and magical

That's all I remember, but I'm sure there is even more stuff going on! Have fun!
