HallStar: "So I can possibly be swarmed by international bees? No Thanks!"

Thanks again for all your effort, Imzadi! :) I sincerely appreciate your time and care. I have a few more days of the free trial because the first representative kindly extended it for me. I'll give it one more Google. If not that is more than ok. I will be passing on the bees that is for sure though.

Several of the paid streaming services have a FREE version that you can watch directly on your web browser, just like the regular YouTube movies. There are a few ads in the movies, which is how the services make their money without charging us. But, it's nothing like the amount of ads when watching TV.

I don't know I you've tried any of them. But, I'll have a list of links for you and everyone in a couple of days. They do have some Hallmark Christmas movies. Some of them even have a Hallmark channel on their service with many of the older movies Hallmark isn't showing anymore.

Finally have time to post the links for the FREE streaming services that can be watched on a web browser - NO app installed needed to watch. I'm including the parent companies - the paid streaming versions, so you know these are all legit services. Again, they show some ads, which is how they offer the movies & TV shows free to us. But the ads are not as long or as many as watching regular TV commercials.

PlutoTV (is Paramount/CBS's FREE streaming service. They have LOTS of older Hallmark Christmas movies and non-Christmas movies not showing on Hallmark now.)
https://pluto.tv/us/on-demand/618c3cc54a27070007796ab4

Do a SEARCH in the top right of the window for "Hallmark" or "Christmas" movies.

They also have the Hallmark Movies & More channel:
https://pluto.tv/us/search/details/channels/628e685ba3811100070551a8/

Tubi (is FOX's FREE streaming service. They have lots of older Lifetime Christmas movies.)
https://tubitv.com/search/Christmas

They have Hallmark and Hallmark-ish movies:
https://tubitv.com/search/Hallmark

Xumo (is Comcast and Charter's FREE streaming service. It is ad supported. They also have many older Hallmark Christmas and non-Christmas movies and have some different content than PlutoTV and some episodes of Cedar Cove.)
https://www.xumo.tv/networks/hallmark-movies-and-more/99991709

Roku Channel: Roku is a device to watch TV, yet they also have their own CHANNEL / streaming service. One does NOT need the device to watch their channel.
https://therokuchannel.roku.com/search/Hallmark

I think they have more UPtv Christmas movies, but there are a few Hallmark movies thrown in:

Freevee: This takes a bit of explaining. Freevee's free movies were part of the IMDb .com's free streaming service. Then the IMDb was bought by Amazon . :teleport: They kept the name Freevee and the separate Freevee website to watch the movies. But, a short while ago, Amazon decided to just show all the FREE movies through their own Amazon Prime website. So the movies are mixed in with their paid Prime service. :headache: :badpc:

You Do NOT have to have a Prime membership to watch the Freevee movies. They do want you to be logged into your Amazon account. You can tell which movies are the Freevee FREE movies as they will still be called "Freevee" OR it will say, "Freevee with ads." Any PAID movies will always list the price of the movie, so you won't accidentally buy a movie that you don't want to.

For Love & Honey is on the Hallmark Channel at 8pm ET/PT.
HA! I bet you're right about the normal leading ladies. After watching the movie, they may feel they missed out, bees or no bees.

I missed For Love & Honey last night, but caught the re-airing tonight! What a lovely movie! Fun story line, *beautiful* location, and the actors had great chemistry. These recent movies keep adding places to my bucket list. I'm a history nut, so the storyline was right up my alley. Almost Indiana-Jones-ish without the danger and more romance! :) I really liked the new leading actress, and Andrew Walker seemed much more relaxed and laid back. In fact, I'm curious if a couple of his lines were ad-libbed. I found this article about the movie, which included some personal photos/Instagrams of the actors. Andrew's wife was with him for the shoot, which I'm sure was special for them in such a great place.

I'll watch this one again!

Thanks for the article. Andrew mentioned once in an interview on Home & Family how he met his wife, Cassandra. He had gone back to Montreal, where he's from to visit family & friends. He went to see a friend at a restaurant and there Cassandra was working as a waitress or bartender. He knew right away he wanted to see her. 😍

But, once Cassandra heard he was an actor, she blew him off. She didn't want someone who was only staying around for a few weeks and then would go back to Los Angeles and break her heart. It took him quite some time to prove he was serious about her and serious about staying in Canada. Those first few movies with Hallmark, where we saw Andrew constantly really helped him prove he could get work in Canada and not have to go back to L.A.

Glad to hear they are still happily carving out time to be together.

Thanks always Imzadi. Sorry for not replying sooner. When can you come look at my kindle? We can enjoy a movie together. It would be a blessing to meet you in person. I did look at my settings. Rotate is off. Apparently just not for HMN. I sincerely appreciate you and your trying. I have bern enjoying Pluto TV. I'm watching again now Love Takes Flight which I enjoyed once before. I also cheered for Lead With Your Heart. Any Pluto TV or any other, all of you know tbat, movie suggestions most welcome and very appreciated. Hug and sweet dreams to all.

It's a Bethany Joy Lenz weekend! A Biltmore Christmas is re-airing tonight and she's also in tomorrow's new movie, Savoring Paris. She's one of my favorites!

::yes:: She's one of Hallmark's better actresses. So they give her better scripts. 🥰

Savoring Paris is on at the usual time on the Hallmark Channel at 8pm ET/PT.

Sunday June 9 at 7/6c
Thursday June 13 at 9/8c
Saturday June 22 at 10/9c
Friday June 28 at 2/1c

As always, thanks Imzadi so much. I have been thinking about getting some type of TV Tray or bed desk to use while seated in this recliner chair. If I did, I could look at something for the kindle. I realized that would be an extra expense that dad and I for now can save on. These days as all of you know with rising prices, every penny counts! Great and as always thoughtful idea that I will look into and keep in mind.

Sweet dreams, everyone! :)

So speaking of bucket list travel, I’m going to share ours because it’s a little unique. My DH studied political science, and I am a trained historian. We want to visit all the presidential libraries. These begin with Herbert Hoover and continue to the present, for the national park sites that are actually museums rather than just their personal library (which is the case for the Adams, Jefferson, etc.) So far we’ve visited JFK, FDR, Truman, and Eisenhower. After we retire we’ll do some bigger trips for us to get 3 in Texas and 2 in Southern California. The others will be quick weekends here and there. We’ve also visited the birthplace and Summer White House for Teddy Roosevelt, because he’s my favorite president ❤️🤍💙

And for those of you asking what about Walt? I’ve spent a lot of time in Marceline because I went to undergrad not too far away and my college BFF’s husband was from there. I’m also hoping to see the Disney museum on a CA trip 🥰

I know it’s a bit off topic, but I love hearing about bucket list travel plans and why, if anyone wants to share. I think it goes along with the spirit of the Hallmark movies, sharing time with the people you love 💖

Of the Hallmark movie locations, we've been to Biltmore, Niagara, NY City, Yosemite, Zion, Yellowstone, Glacier, Great Smoky Mountains, and Whislter Blackcomb, BC. The western US parks are stunning, especially Yosemite. If you go, allow at least 2 to 3 days in each park. If you can, also stay in the park lodges. They are historic, but ressies book up a year in advance. If you can't stay there, dine in the restaurants.

Best money I've ever spent, without question.
