So speaking of bucket list travel, I’m going to share ours because it’s a little unique. My DH studied political science, and I am a trained historian. We want to visit all the presidential libraries. These begin with Herbert Hoover and continue to the present, for the national park sites that are actually museums rather than just their personal library (which is the case for the Adams, Jefferson, etc.) So far we’ve visited JFK, FDR, Truman, and Eisenhower. After we retire we’ll do some bigger trips for us to get 3 in Texas and 2 in Southern California. The others will be quick weekends here and there. We’ve also visited the birthplace and Summer White House for Teddy Roosevelt, because he’s my favorite president

And for those of you asking what about Walt? I’ve spent a lot of time in Marceline because I went to undergrad not too far away and my college BFF’s husband was from there. I’m also hoping to see the Disney museum on a CA trip
I know it’s a bit off topic, but I love hearing about bucket list travel plans and why, if anyone wants to share. I think it goes along with the spirit of the Hallmark movies, sharing time with the people you love
