I am currently doing a free trial of Up Faith and Family. I may have run out of free full length movies on you tube! I have an older Kindle so no you tube movie app just web version. I enjoyed the “Family Practice Mysteries. I thought it was well done in all regards, and I hope this is the start of a new series.

The I tried to watch “Everything Puppies.” I had low expectations, but I just couldn’t get into it.

I’ll start watching the Christmas movies I taped last July on June 1st. They melt away one year later, so I have to get going on them! I still have several from last Christmas as well. I’m ready to enjoy some holiday cheer

‘When Calls The Heart’ Actor Mamie Laverock on Life Support After Balcony Fall
The 19-year-old sustained “life-threatening” injuries after falling from a five-story walkway at a Vancouver hospital while under medical care.

Mamie Laverock, a 19-year-old actor with Hallmark’s When Calls The Heart, is on life support after falling from a five-story walkway while under medical care at a Vancouver hospital.

According to a GoFundMe page launched by her family, Laverock was rushed on May 11 to a Winnipeg hospital by her mother, Nicole Compton, after what was described as a “medical emergency.” But an update from Laverock’s family indicates on May 26 she fell from a balcony walkway at a Vancouver hospital after being transferred there as part of her recovery.

“Mamie, who has been in intensive treatment for the past two weeks, was escorted out of a secure unit of the hospital and taken up to a balcony walkway from which she fell five stories. She sustained life threatening injuries, has undergone multiple extensive surgeries, and is currently on life support,” the family’s fundraising campaign page states.

“We are all devastated, in shock, at this intensely difficult time,” Laverock’s parents, Rob and Nicole, added in their update. The tragic setback in Laverock’s hospital care and recovery prompted an outpouring of concern from Hallmark and series colleagues.

“We are deeply saddened to hear the news about Mamie. As a beloved member of our When Calls the Heart community, we wish her and her family peace, comfort, and many prayers during this difficult time,” Hallmark Media said in a statement obtained by THR.

Johannah Newmarch, who plays Laverock’s on-screen mother, Molly Sullivan, on When Calls The Heart, on her X page, formerly Twitter, urged fans to donate to the GoFundMe page. “I love this wonderful family so much, and my heart is broken. Such a devastating time for them and all who care deeply for sweet Mamie. Please help if you can. They need all the support they can get to make it through this nightmare. Thank you,” Newmarch wrote on the social media platform.

“I just donated. If you have the means to do so, I hope you will too. Link in bio,” co-star Erin Krakow wrote on her Instagram page.

Laverock appeared between 2014 and 2023 in When Calls The Heart in the role of Rosaleen Sullivan. Her other TV credits include Psych, The Killing Game, Wedding of Dreams, A Series of Unfortunate Events and the Spotlight on Christmas TV movie.

The GoFundMe Page had raised $15,560 towards a $25,000 goal on May

Thanks again Imzadi and PollyannaMom for your movie recommendations. Imzadi, Ordinary Miracles reminded me of another Hallmark movie I enjoyed called Finding Grace PollyannaMom, it was interesting to see Roma Downey in Borrowed Hearts--a role other than as Monica on Touched by an Angel. I fully admit it was a little hard to not think of her that way. I did enjoy the movie idea. This movie reminded me of The Borrowed Christmas I have enjoyed my free trial of Up Faith and Family. I will share a few extra movie suggestions later or tomorrow. I'd appreciate always any additional recommendations. My free Up trial does end Thursday. Over the weekend I'll do a free 7 day of Hallmark Movies Now. Any suggestions on there would be fantastic and much appreciated. to all with sweet dreams wishes.

Lots of great choices it looks like including two movies very dear to my heart for how deeply faith based and truly touching they were The Blessing Bracelet and The Gift of Peace. I had a hard time finding decent photos to post of the movie. In all the photos of the female lead, she had a weird, phony expression on her face. Made me wonder if it was because of the story. The puppies looked cute though!

Several of the paid streaming services have a FREE version that you can watch directly on your web browser, just like the regular YouTube movies. There are a few ads in the movies, which is how the services make their money without charging us. But, it's nothing like the amount of ads when watching TV.

I don't know i you've tried any of them. But, I'll have a list of links for you and everyone in a couple of days. They do have some Hallmark Christmas movies. Some of them even have a Hallmark channel on their service with many of the older movies Hallmark isn't showing anymore.

Anyone techy on here? I am good with everyday basics I do have a free 7-day trial of Hallmark Movies Now that I would sure love to enjoy. As I have shared, I do mostly watch movies at night on my older Kindle Fire Tablet. Last night, when trying to watch Aiden and Darcy's first movie, A Gift to Remember (a favorite of mine) I quickly realized there was NO sound! What was weirder was that the bell sound icon was showing as on. I had also just watched a movie from You Tube that played normally. I did try the Hallmark Movies Now App from the Amazon App Store. That way the movie definitely had sound, very loud in fact! However for me the issue was that the dsiplay was horizontal. It would not shift to vertical. I would prefer to not hold the kindle horizontally for the length of a movie. I did call Hallmark Movies Now earlier. A kind representative explained that the reason for no sound is that Silk Browser which is what Kindle uses does not support Hallmark Movies Now! Why it allowed me to open the site to begin with I have no idea. She went onto suggest I try Chrome, Edge, Firefox, etc. It looks like Chrome is not available for download on kindle. Do any of you know whether the other browers are? If so, how do I get a second browser? Thank you all for just reading through this. I really appreciate it and always each of you. @flyingdumbo127 First do you have a Kindle eReader (only) or an Kindle Fire tablet?

If you have only the Kindle eReader, you might not be able to install Firefox.

But, some of the other web streaming services have Hallmark Movies Now. So, maybe one of them will work on the Silk Browser.

Try this solution I found to install Firefox:

"There is not a version of Firefox for Android available for the Amazon products, but there is a way that you can download it and use it on your Kindle Fire tablet.

In your device's Settings, you will need to find the setting to allow the device to install software from unknown sources."

To do this go to Settings, then go to Privacy and Security, then Allow apps from unknown sources.

Here is a YouTube tutorial. Your tablet may be a different model, but it should be similar on where to find it on your tablet.

Once you've checked that setting,
Download Firefox for Android free here:

(It will not automatically update later on. You will need to manually download new versions (this may overwrite any bookmarks and settings you have saved). That's okay. If this version works, use it until it no longer works. That's what I do. If it ain't broke, I don't go updating it, where it can get buggy and not work right. )

Go back into Settings and uncheck that you are allowing it to install software from unknown sources.
