I watched “A Magical Christmas Village” for the first time.
I did enjoy it, but all the plastic surgery was a distraction.
Alison Sweeney actually looked more normal next to poor Marlo Thomas, whose face Did. Not. Move.

The daughter also seemed a bit older than she should have been.
But all in all a cute one and done movie for me.

I will be recording on Great American Family Channel this afternoon, A Christmas Miracle for Daisy. From doing a quick search within this kind thread it sounded as though some of (I sure hope) did enjoy it :) I'll share once I'm done watching. I have recorded, ready to be watched, Christmas on Candy Cane Lane. What did all of you think of that movie? I actually thought Picture a Perfect Christmas that for some reason I thought I once didn't like, looked better. One was airing on GAF and the other on Hallmark at the same time last night. I definitely hope each of you have gotten or will get to see a fun and enjoyable movie this weekend :)

I liked A Christmas Miracle for Daisy and Picture a Perfect Christmas. I like Jill Wagner & Merritt Paterson. They each do solid movies and tend to get better scripts.

I don't think I saw Christmas on Candy Cane Lane. I'll be interested to hear what you think of it. :) Hope you and your dad are having a great weekend. :goodvibes

Aw, :thanks:Imzadi so much. We are having a good weekend. 🙏you are, too. Glad to hearcyoy enjoyed those two movies. I will keep an eye out for Picture a Perfect Christmas to reair. Meantime, I'll definitely share what I think of Christmas on Candy Cane Lane.

You may have been thinking of the Picture Perfect Mysteries on HM&M with Alexa PenaVega, Carlos PenaVega. I don't care for her, I think she's rather prissy and snooty :snooty:, so I tend not to watch her stuff.

I can see why some might think that but she's also so sweet with her kids and hubby. I watch their instagram stories and reels on FB and they are adorable together. Just another side....

I didn't follow my instincts and gave in to tonight's HM new Royal movie. It's tolerable. I just think the whole prince/princess thing is ridiculous. We've been busy at the beach this weekend so I haven't gotten to watch a lot of the Christmas reruns. I hope I can watch last year's winner with Andrew Walker & Tyler Hynes, Three Wise Men & a baby. Silly, but so darn cute....

Happy Christmas in July everyone!!! My neighborhood holds a crazy Christmas in July pool party at the end of the month where everyone exchanges gifts and jumps in the pool in their christmas sweaters. Last year it was a hoot!

Happy Sunday Friends

Dad and I did watch the first half an hour or so of Christmas on Candy Cane Lane last night. Honestly, I wasn't overly impressed with it yet though to be fair it has gotten a little better. So far, I like the dad of the young daughter character the best. Saving part was definitely seeing briefly the town's Nativity scene. We will watch a little more this afternoon. I will share more once we have done so.

Disney4us2002, your neighborhood party sounds like a lot of fun!:hug:Pre pandemic, I always enjoyed Christmas in July worship service at church.

:grouphug:to all.

This sounds like so much fun! :teeth:

Sorry for this double post. Came back quickly to share we did not like this movie much at all. To be fair, after trying to watch it for 30+ minutes, we mostly fast forwarded to the very end which was the best part. Even that, I'm afraid, was nothing to recommend! None of the characters did anything for us. Terrible really and semi annoying too. I did like the late mother's character and the dad. But again, not even close to recommending any of dear you waste time on this! Oh well, as we all know some movies are better than others. We are more looking forward to checking out the Daisy movie.

Sweet Dreams with a hug to all!

Thanks for letting us know to skip this movie. :thumbsup2 But, yes, some movies need to just be skipped to the end after watching the first 30+ minutes. :headache:

Have a good night, @flyingdumbo127 !

I am really hoping this is a Corey Sevier I enjoy. It seems like I either love or can't stand his movies -- there is no in-between for me LOL 🤣

So I watched Take Me Back for Christmas, and I enjoyed it.
To be fair, Corey directed and wasn't in it as much as a hero normally appears.
I would probably watch it again in a couple of years, definitely not a rewatch immediately for me.

Haul Out the Holly has a sequel coming out this Christmas. As the first movie is re-airing tomorrow night at 8pm ET, Hallmark is going to show a special preview of Haul Out the Holly 2. 🎄
