Hallmark collectors: Second markdown?

I really need to write this down so I will remember next year...When do Hallmarks mark the ornaments down a second time? After the inital day after Christmas sale?

I was at Kohls on Sunday and their ornaments are now 60% off. CVS went to 75% on Sunday too, and many stores have a small amount of Hallmark ornaments. AS for Hallmark stores, most in our area are individually owned and some will mark them down further, while others pack them away. We have 2 stores are each mall I go to and find each has a different policy. After Christmas one of our malls had all of their Jim Shore Christmas figurines, which included the Disney ones too, for 50% off, while stores at other malls did not reduce theirs. All of my Hallmark ornament are 50% off, while my sister, who lives near Baltimore only found 40% off on her ornaments.

Some are individually owned while others are corporate owned. That's one of the reasons for the different discounts. For the privately owned ones they get to make their own discounts. That is why you can fine some better deals there. Sorry that is all the help I can give

Mervyns had all their Hallmark ornaments 75% off the day after Christmas...they still had all the Disney ones so got 1 of each.

I didn't even know Mervyns carried them but I was at the Hallmark store looking at the Disney ones and had a few in my hand and a nice lady was kind enough to tell me. So I put them back on the shelf and headed to Mervyns where I was able to get them for $3-$4 each.
