DVR'd that one last night, looking forward to seeing it!A BILTMORE CHRISTMAS
Very nicely done. I was getting a bit confused at the beginning as to what was happening, but finally caught up about 20 minutes in.
Surprise cameo at the end, and I'm sure it was an Easter egg, but I didn't quite get it.
Taped the show last night, and will watch it this afternoon. We've visited the Biltmore, and also the Biltmore Forest School located about 40 miles away. We're very excited for this one as well and hoping they do a good job. We got to tour the Biltmore I think it was in 2014 or 2015 such a beautiful place![]()
I finished the movie, but I agree on the snobby couple. I mean, the actors played their parts well because they were really annoying. It just sucked the joy out of the movie for me, tho.Tried watching Haul Out the Holly - Lit Up, but gave up a few minutes in. I just couldn't handle the snobby TV couple. There are too many movies this year to watch ones you don't like!
We stuck with it, and I don’t think the movie “redeemed” itself. You did right!Tried watching Haul Out the Holly - Lit Up, but gave up a few minutes in. I just couldn't handle the snobby TV couple. There are too many movies this year to watch ones you don't like!
Totally agree. I'm biased, because I love Biltmore, but I thought this was one of the better Hallmark movies.A BILTMORE CHRISTMAS

I struggled to stick this one out. The neighbors were so annoying. I kept waiting for someone to kick those gnome speakers just to stop hearing their voices. I kept waiting for Wes and Lacy to be booted from their HOA positions as the new neighbors continuously poo-poo'd their plans.Tried watching Haul Out the Holly - Lit Up, but gave up a few minutes in. I enjoyed this one, also.I watched Catch Me If You Claus and it was cute. That make out scene in the truck was steamy! Sadly I fell asleep and missed the last 10-15 minutes![]()

Totally agree. I'm biased, because I love Biltmore, but I thought this was one of the better Hallmark movies.Loved the writing and the ending (as well as all the inner wordplay about the "ending".) I also enjoyed the "friend" who I felt like was "me" if I was suddenly inserted into a Hallmark movie. I will definitely be watching it again!
DH walked in at the beginning and exclaimed "That's Jonathan Frakes! Star Trek! I like this one!" before he walked out.The cameo at the end was another Star Trek guy.
As RangerPooh said, the makeout scene was steamy and so NOT Hallmark, lol. My dh walked in at that moment for a snack and said "hey, I thought you were watching Hallmark!".
I did end up watching A Biltmore Christmas which I enjoyed immensely. I'm happy that Kristopher Polaha also has a motion picture coming out in theaters soon (movie trailer was shown during this movie). I really think he's great and I just love his voice. I think he could narrate audiobooks if the acting thing doesn't work out, lol. Bethany Joy Lenz started out on my fave soap years ago and I've always liked her.
I recently lucked onto this one, I've watched it 3 times now.Re-watching parts of Take Me Back for Christmas. It actually premiered during Christmas in July. It's an okay movie. It's a rendition of the other Hallmark movies where the lead goes back it time, and gets to relive their life again differently, only to discover the life they originally had was great after all.
There is one poignant scene between the female lead and her mother, (Vanessa Lengies and Paula Boudreau,) that I just have to say kudos to. The actresses played the scene so well. No over-acting, no trying to hit the point home, no being overly-syrupy. It's a scene in which all of us who've lost a loved one wish we could have in life. I get misty-eyed watching that scene.Well done, women!
Time travel? Why not, it's a movie. Great story backed up by a great, great co-star, the Biltmore House itself. Interesting that Asheville and Biltmore were sponsors of the movie.About halfway through "Biltmore." Impressed.
