One December Night
I liked this one.

Open By Christmas, I didn't like Allison, she just rubbed me the wrong way. Couldn't finish watching.

I had to turn off A Picture Perfect Holiday on Lifetime, though. I did like Ice Wine Christmas on Lifetime, but I kept seeing Sandra Bullock as the lead.

I felt that way about Erica Durance since she was Lois Lane. But, I like Alison so I plowed through it. I actually thought, "Maybe Alison cast Erica on purpose knowing she rubs some people the wrong way?" No leading actress would want to cast someone who ends up more popular than her. :scratchin But, it doesn't help if Alison rubs people the wrong way too. I get you.

It should be on demand on Frndly right now. If not today, then tomorrow.

I wish Hallmark put their new movies On Demand on Spectrum Cable that week. Network TV does that for their TV shows. You miss a show you can still watch it right away. Instead, Hallmark mostly puts really old movies up, and not their Hall of Fame movies.

Mrs. Miracle was so good and i feel like it's a storyline not always done too
I have Hallmark through Amazon Prime Video, so I don't think I'm getting all the movies you all are recommending, but this one is included so I'll watch it. I've really been enjoying the ones I've been watching so far.

Make sure it's the new Mrs. Miracle with Caroline Rhea. The old ones were with Doris Roberts. Many people love those too.

I had to turn off A Picture Perfect Holiday on Lifetime,

This movie has a cutesy music soundtrack going on in the background ALL THE TIME. :headache: Every moment. :badpc:

I watch a lot of art or craft tutorials on YouTube that people shoot themselves. When someone uploads their video, they are given a choice to add in some background music for free. Many people choose to do so simply because they CAN. Not because it fits the video. If anything, the music interferes with the dialogue or is so unnecessary. THIS is like those videos.

It's a first time director. And I think he just didn't trust that the acting or story would be enough. Since he was given a chance to add music, he did. It would have been a decent Lifetime movie without the soundtrack. :sad2:

In the same way I plow through the craft videos, I plowed through much of this one, as an aspect of the story is they are learning how to shoot Christmas photography. I was curious to see what that entailed more than the story. For anyone else, I'd say pass on it.

I enjoyed Mrs Miracle, it made me cry though lol. Watching my Christmas Family Tree now, nice to see something a bit different.

You're probably getting Hallmark Now via Amazon Prime. For the new movies, you can use Frndly to watch them. It's free for a week, so I suggest giving it a try. It's a separate app on the ROKU.

I forgot to tape Open By Christmas so I missed it yesterday and today. I like Allison Sweeney, since I used to be a Days of or Lives viewer. I'm sure it will run again.

I watched it yesterday and enjoyed it. I didn't really dislike anyone, and I liked that it was more a mystery than a "saving Christmas" type plot. So I would say tape it if you do see it airing again. :)

Yes - I hate that too! It happens to me on Pinterest, and I sometimes just mute it.

I set that one to record, but haven't watched yet.

People might want to wait another week or so if they are just doing the free trial. This way, depending on how often GAC Family re-airs their Christmas movies, or if one is able to catch them on demand, one may be able to catch a few during the trial week.

Thanks, for giving a perspective as someone who doesn't dislike the two leads.

We watched One December Night yesterday and enjoyed it.

Another trend in these movies, some older folks are featured and lives have real problems that either are overcome or must be dealt with to the end.

Has anyone seen the new one with Peter Gallagher? I like him but I keep forgetting to tape his movie.
I LOVE him, so I watched it, while not working LOL. I watch my Hallmark movies while I work, but for him, I decided to watch at night so I could pay full attention with no interruptions. I really liked it, but he could read the phonebook and I would be in heaven.
