Hallmark Movies ❤️ comfort & joy

I LOVE him, so I watched it, while not working LOL. I watch my Hallmark movies while I work, but for him, I decided to watch at night so I could pay full attention with no interruptions. I really liked it, but he could read the phonebook and I would be in heaven.
That's so funny because I watch while I work also. I love to just look up from time to time while I'm processing a thought and see something pleasant on the tv. I will definitely watch Peter's Hallmark movie while I'm not working.

I do that too. I watch while working or doing other things. I call it multi-tasking. It's also why I like finding out what others think of the movies. The ones that people think are just okay I'll watch while multi-tasking. The better ones, I save for when I settle down and want to watch with my full attention. :cloud9:

(I just set it to tape too. 🙂 )

Speaking of setting the DVR up, I think almost all TV services & apps are able to set up recordings for Thanksgiving right now. (If not, this will be repeated on the Thanksgiving week schedule, too. But as things get busier toward the holiday, one may want to set this up now.)

On Thurs Nov 25, Thanksgiving night, the Hallmark Channel will have a double feature:

The Nine Lives of Christmas at 6pm ET / 5CT
This is an oldie that is a favorite of many people. ♥
It stars Kimberley Sustad, Brandon Routh and Gregory Harrison. After a cat adopts a firefighter (Brandon,) he meets Kimberley, who also has a cat. After she gets kicked out of her apartment for having her cat, she winds up staying at Brandon's house while looking for a place to live. :cat:

⬇ AND right after ⬇

The
New_smiley2.gif
sequel: :cat::cat:
Nine Kittens of Christmas at 8pm ET / 7CT
(The IMDb.com says it may also be re-titled as: Nine Lives of Holidays. Record it no matter which title you see.)

Ooh i'll have to set the dvr for that one, i'll miss it more than likely

Did you catch the one tonight about the girl was was searching for her father? Not bad.
We enjoyed My Christmas Family Tree!
I enjoyed Mrs Miracle, it made me cry though lol. Watching my Christmas Family Tree now, nice to see something a bit different.

Add me to the list of those who liked My Christmas Family Tree. :thumbsup2

I think this year there are better movies, ones that aren’t just boy meets girl.

Yes, I'm pleasantly surprised.

Although, I think these DNA storylines will become a regular storyline. They do seem to be handling the situations sensitively.

And when I was watching Mrs. Miracle and saw the male lead character enter the scene, I was shocked that he was married to the female character and they already had a rich history together. I was so used to seeing the boy meets girl stories. It was refreshing to see a married couple and the story they had.

I love Brandon Routh, I hope Canada doesn't wait too long to play Nine Kittens because, kittens! :D I did find the other one Nine Lives of Christmas and have set the DVR for that one.

YouTube TV (the streaming service) has added the 3 Hallmark channels to it's live TV line up.

Several people have confirmed the 3 Hallmark channels are part of YouTube TV's basic plan now
(at $65/month, no price increase.) Check your channel guide. It should be right under the FXM channel.

If they don't appear, you probably have your guide set up to only show your favorite channels, or you originally only selected certain channels in your line up. You have to then manually add the channels to your favorites. Bring up your account on a computer. Go into settings and click on them. Log out of your app, then log back in. They should show up then.

When you click on the channel itself, it shows all the upcoming movies that are new this season. You can click to add them to your unlimited DVR recordings.

"Crown Media Family Networks and YouTube TV have announced an agreement to bring Hallmark Channel, Hallmark Movies & Mysteries, and Hallmark Drama to the streaming video platform.
There have been no price increases announced for YouTube TV subscribers with the addition of the Hallmark channels.'"

Not showing yet for me. I am now conflicted if they do show up.
Frndly now has GAC and Lifetime/LMN which Youtube does not have. but it would nice to stop paying extra.

I finally watched The Christmas Ornament. It was touching but I enjoyed it much more the first time around last year. I did love the kind lady at the end who offers to be a source of funding for Kathy's new cookie business. I'd enjoy trying her sugar cookies :) I just Googled the cast. Kathy was played by Kellie Martin who was Becca on Life Goes On. Chad Lowe's character Jesse on that show truly always touched my heart plus he was so handsome! Back to this movie. I loved the kindness of Scott, Kathy's late husband in his card to his wife that was delivered to her with the butterfly ornament. Good message. Now onto more movies! :santa:

Some of the older movies were so thoughtfully written. I like your descriptions of what you thought of the movie. :goodvibes

I'm just now starting to get in my christmas mood, we'll see how long it lasts this year 😂

If things keep up the way they are, you'll have some better movies to forget about work once you get home. :happytv:
