Hi all,can anyone tell me if its busy around half term (October) and does this bump up fares
What dates are half term on?
Any help greatfully recieved :surfweb:
Thanks :thumbsup2

Halfterm in our area is 23rd October until 27th October.

October is not one of the busiest times at WDW, but it's not one of the quietest either - there is a lot going on with the Halloween celebrations and the Food and Wine Festival. It's a great time to go, both for manageable crowds and good weather :)

As with all school holidays fares do increase :(

Our half terms in Staffordshire is the same dates as above and next year 22nd - 26th October. Check with your local education authority web site, they should be listed.

We usually go for Oct half term and the 2 weeks before it.
Out of the 3 weeks the last week (half term) is the quietest of the 3. Usually not many Americans around, mostly British voices you hear around the parks. We have always found it the best month to visit, still perfect weather and low crowds.
Prices are always good in Oct. Last year we did Virgin package 2 adults & 1 child flights and 3 weeks hotel offsite for £1,600ish.

Hi,
Our half term in Sussex for October 2007 is the week including October 22-26. It is a good time to go with nice temperatures and not too crowded

We are off on Friday :cool1: which is the beginning of half term here (midlands). Not got kids, we are going for wedding anniversary. we booked it 13 months ago and the prices were no different but the availability (we wanted a particular hotel and date) was getting booked quickly. We have been there before at this time and is not too crowded and we love halloween! there is still enough people for a great atmosphere!

Glad to hear all this seeing as I go on Saturday :woohoo:

Half term dates vary depending on your location, Joshua is off from 30th October through to 3rd November.

Unfortunatley holiday periods mean inflated prices I am afraid, as we generally find out when we go in August, other than that October is one of the best times to go and the weather is ideal.
