I thought since we all decided to do this together, it would be fun to share our results with each other- you don't have to if you don't want to, but I thought it might be nice to see how many of us finished and what our results were.

And with due respect to our WISH friends who were horribly interrupted and kept from completing the race, please know that you did complete the race, for a piece of you was carried within each of us. :flower2: :flower2: :flower2: :flower2:

Here's mine

Can I play too?

NONE of this is official but based off of the tracking email DH received from my 10 mile mark....

(chip) Time: 3:34 mins
Pace: 16:50 mile

I was DARN close! Not sure if I would have had enough in me to run at the end.

Susan, 42
Place------
Official Time --3:50
Chip Time --3:40 (if it had registered)
Pace -- 16.?
Achievement--totally successful!!! I walked with a very sore outer thigh muscle from mile 5. I had to walk pushing the muscle with my hand. Then I had a sore hand. I did take waaay too many tylenol but I was the "Tylenol push through the pain, girl last Sunday" :earseek:

I could have been a bit faster but us slowpokes at the end were too busy talking as we walked down the road beside the Grand Floridian to worry about our times.

Kim, 27
Place 6443
Official Time --3:09
Chip Time --3:00
Pace -- 14:00

I would have had a faster time, but we stopped to use the a port a pottie and that took about 10 minutes. Then afterwards we just strolled back into the race.

Amanda and Brian, 24 and 26
Place - 74XX
Official Time --3:26
Chip Time --3:16
Pace -- 15:37 - although this was calculated by the official time and not net.
Achievement - Finishing! LOL!

wiskband--theirs a special picture thread, just for you ;)
I'm jealous of you sweating--that's how I know I'm working.

I didn't sweat at all that day :(
Not a good thing when you don't want to dehydrate!

Cool, my bib number is 24172. The first pic is of Alissa (karebears daughter) and me running the second one is of me slowing down (not one of my best moments)

That is your official time--you just don't have a chip time (no chip = no listing in official results)--but you officially finished ;)

Achievement--Success beyond belief. You are looking at an overweight, uh, mature woman who has done absolutely NOTHING athletic in years....no, decades! Who would have believed that I could do this? Not a lot of people! But you people here on WISH did, and, with your encouragement and excitement...I DID IT.

As I read this I'm am totally in tears. I was one of the ones stopped at just before Magic Kingdom just before 9:00. I know I would have finished! It was so terrible. They made us stand there for 45 minutes with no water and then made us walk to the monorail with no one to tell us where to go or let them know we were coming. We did get the Donald medal but I WANTED TO FINISH! Someone did say that Disney made a mistake with the times. I lost 60 pounds and raised $3600 for Team in Training. Congratulations to everyone else! You should be very proud.

I ran with KarenNY. Our race time was 3:44:27, but our chip time was 3:34. I am so proud of everyone on the WISH team! :cheer2:
