Hi we have booked the Half Board Plus Vouchers for out trip at the end of March and I am a bit confused where we can use them as full payment for a meal. On the DLRP website it lists Walts as being in the 17 Restaurants that takes the vouchers as full payment, but when I tried to pre-book a table at Walts I was told that the vouchers would not cover a full meal at Walts and I would need to pay extra.

Has anyone used the Half Board Plus in Walts?

Thanks.

According to official brochure with half board plus you can eat at:

Agrabah, Walts, Beaver Creek Tavern, La Grange, Steakhouse, Rendez Vous des Stars, Lucky Nugget, Silver Spur, Parkside Diner, Cape Cod, Hunters Grill, Crocketts Tavern, Chuck Wagon, La Cantina.

When we were in Walts at Christmas there was someone at a nearby table looking at a menu then when they were ordering they showed the vouchers and were given a different menu so I assume it means you have a limited choice to use it for full value of the meal but could order from the full menu if you put the rest towards it

Thanks, for that, the only place I have found a list is on the website, but DLRP customer service tell me that Walts is not included.

I will find out in March :yay:

Just returned on Thursday from DLP and YES Walts was listed on the voucher.

We didnt eat there but I assume you get a set menu as was the case in the

Steakhouse :goodvibes

 We just returned last night and on wednesday we used our half board plus vouchers at walts.
When using it at walts you get a different menu with choice of two starters( ceaser salad, which i had and was yummy or clam chouder soup which my dh had and he said was very nice).
Two main courses farmhouse chicken( which we both had, chicken with veg and potatoes) or fettuchi pasta) and choice of two puds ( creme brulee cheesecake, which gets set alight at your table which i had and it was delicious or chocolate tarte, moose and a creme anglaise, which my dh had) even my daughter who is a chocoholic complained this was too much chocolate for her.
You are told if you do not like the choices above you can use the vouchers as part payment.
We reserved a main street view window seat at 3.3opm and enjoyed watching the parade from up high.
I dont know if you will have children with you but our 9yr old didn't fancy the kids meal so we paid the difference for her to have a tenager menu , she had a burger which was huge and the same chocolate adults dessert which was well worth and extra 4 euros. hope this is all helpfull.:dance3:

Thats interesting that you can use them at walts-I'm a little confused as to where you can use the vouchers now as they seem to have changed the plan since we used them last June.

Thank you very much for all your help, these boards are the best!!!

Hi Bonhoga,

I am unable to send a PM so thought I would post a reply to you here.

Thanks for your message. We went to DLRP last year and had a meal in both Walts and Inventions and agree Walts is much better. We are looking forward to going back to Walts almost as much as the parks

We did not have any vouchers last year as we stayed in the Disneyland Hotel and you could not get them then. The premium vouchers are not available to us as we go the week before they start

Glad you had a good time and hope you can go back soon. :)

Keith.

hmm, considering buying vouchers now, im buyin APs when i arrive, and have hotel booked via expedia, how would i get the vouchers?

just got my brochure, really want to book half board vouchers, they are evn doing premium vouchers, but they are £31 adult and £10 child!! expensive!

The Premium vouchers start the day after we leave DLRP. They are accepted in most of the restaurants so will probably be worth the money.
