Hakuna Matata Trip 8 Nights at AKL (Part 6 MGM Again & EPCOT)

Since we didn’t get to do everything at MGM the previous night we decided to start off our day back at MGM. When we arrived the CMs were telling everyone that Rock’n Roller Coaster was having technical difficulties and they weren’t sure when it would be open. So everyone there for the opening headed for Tower of Terror, but we were able to get right on in the first car.

We grabbed a fastpass on the way out, but we didn’t need it. Even with R’nR begin down T of T was only a 10 minute wait, so we went right on it again.

From there was went to the Great Movie Ride…a walk on and then we went to see Sounds Dangerous, something we had never seen.

We then stopped for a snack. I had a spicy cream cheese pretzel and the girls had a slushie and some popcorn then the girls went off to TofT before heading back to the hotel.

We spent another delightful afternoon animal watching and swimming.We just never seemed to get enough of just being at the hotel.

That night we had PS at the Garden Grill for dinner, so we went to EPCOT around 5:00, rode Spaceship Earth (I think Alli had a snooze) and then we grabbed fastpasses for Test Track to use after dinner.

We’ve always enjoyed the Garden Grill but this time it was just okay. The bread is now served as dinner rolls and the salad just didn’t seem as good, but all in all a nice meal. Since the restaurant was so quiet we saw lots of the characters. I think maybe we're just becoming more partial to sit down , order from a menu meals.

After dinner we used our fastpasses for Test Track and then looked around Mouse Gear a bit. The girls didn’t seem too keen on staying for Illuminations so we headed back to AKL. Come to find out Alli was in a big rush to get back to the hotel because she wanted to call her boyfriend Oh well....Hakuna Matata

Did you mention in an earlier post that the girls made popcorn at AKL ?? was this in the food court?

How come you did Test Track instead of mission space?

I brought some bags of popcorn with us and we just used the microwave in Mara to make it.

There was NO WAY I was doing Mission Space again, and it took until the next day when we went back to EPCOT for the girls to decide to go on it.
