Hi Everyone!! It's great to be a part of a team!!
The 2009 Half Marathon will be my first. I just started a training program in Downtown Chicago, which is really great. The coaches are awesome, and it's fun to run with other people sometimes instead of just by yourself. My dad is a runner, so he's going to run the half with me (it was my way of bribing him to go to Disney, LOL).
We live in IL, but we actually go to MI a lot in the summer. My MIL has a house in Sister Lakes, which is near St. Joseph/Benton Harbor. I wish I lived in FL though, winter stinks!!

On Saturday, we are going down to Ft Collins for a St Patricks Day 5K race, it looks like it will be raining and snowing - what fun! We are not going to get the snow that was predicted for today, that storm fizzled out, but it will be cooler than it has been, and the wind is back. It was really nice to have 2 days with little wind.

I guess that would be a different way to get some speed work into one's routine.
, we missed you. Glad you are ready to begin your training again. Wish we were doing Minnie with you but we needed to take some time for body maintance.
I was on such a roll and acomplishing so much, that I missed some workouts. I will PM in the 3 that I did, and promise to do better next week!
