Good Morning, TEAM! :wave2:

Hope everyone is having a Great Weekend!

OhMYGosh- November 15th all ready! The WDW weekend is coming up F-A-S-T. The Donald, Micky, and The Goofy! Then I think we have some doing the Circle of Life 5k also!

Seriously we are having some beautiful weather- rain this morning but it is suppose to clear this afternoon and in the low 50's. Did get in my 4.3 mile walk and a 13.6 mile bike ride yesterday…will do my 8 mile back-to-back this afternoon.

Connie- We are missing hearing from you! :grouphug:

Vicky-

Sue-
While I love the training, we're not left with much "free" time over the coming weeks.
the long mileage alone is Not-So-Much-Fun for me! :confused3

Scott- no snow yet that stuck to the ground here...I am not looking forward to using the DM! Goofy Training and you have time for a extra project-I am definitely doing something wrong! :sad2:

Lynn- Glad to hear the knee is doing a bit better! :grouphug:

Kim- how are you doing? pixiedust:

:hippie: Bummer-I am a Friend, but one that rarely has the extra time to get on Facebook-:upsidedow

Jack-'Good Morning' hope you, DW, and family have something fun and relaxing planned for this weekend! :upsidedow

Denise-WHERE ARE YOU? I know these precious GRAND babies keep us busy but we miss hearing from you. ::yes::

Need to get out the door...

5K on TM as we have 3.5 inches of snow out there, I am slowly getting better on the TM, even with a TV I get bored, outside seems so much more normal, temp is 21.....

Hope all have a great day, do enjoy.....

Good Morning Team!

As Scott says, we got 3.5 inches of snow last night - I will try to get dogs out for at least a loop later today, need to do my weights - skipped them yesterday and I am feeling it in my knee now. Of course, I could us the weather as an excuse for the pain, but I never really saw a correlation between the weather and the pain.

Have a great day all - we are going to brave the weather and go out to meet some friends for breakfast!

Ok I have had a time of it with that virus. I ended up having to erase my hard drive and then puting it back to out of the box condition, which unfortunately was 3 years ago so the updates are endless. I have hopefully though got the virus critters on the run.

My training has sucked the last week, my left calf has been tight and it's throwing my whole stride off. I have been stretching and icing all week, hopefully it will be better by the Turkey Trot on Thanksgiving day.

Sorry all my news has been a bummer but this whole year has been a bad one. Next year has to be better, come on January and a fresh new year!!!

Dave:hippie:

Shorts in November! :upsidedow Who'd have thunk it - well, continuing on in my quest to ensure the mild temps stick around. I placed an order for some cold weather running gear - a hoodie, tights, wind pants. Actually, I lost enough weight from last winter that I don't fit into some of my running stuff anymore. Good for me, bad for my pocket book. I did manage to get a 50% discount code for the Adidas store (Canadian) so it wasn't terrible. I've never worn their stuff before so we'll see how it goes.

Did my 7 miler today... it was so-so. Went slower because my knee was pinching a bit. I think it was from my IT band being tight. Perhaps it is time for another massage :) I ran the whole way without stopping but I suspect that was because I was going slowly. I figured I might as well take the time to pay attention to my form and make sure I wasn't slouched over etc. Training overall has been kind of meh this week - the gym workouts have been good but running has been slow. It's a little bit of a let down after I had a couple great weekends.

Dave - Sorry to hear about the computer viruses! They are a pain to get rid of. Do you have a virus checker program?

Lynn/Scott - Yikes! Snow :( Wouldn't it be nice if we could just bottle the stuff up and send it somewhere far, far away... Lynn, hope your knee is feeling better soon!

Margie - I wanted to register for the 5K but I think it's full. Next time I guess. Save me a hug for January :)

Have a great day everyone!

As Vicky said another November run in shorts.:yay: Had a good 8 miler yesterday & 16 today.

Taking a quick break & watching this week's golf from DW. Always nice to hear the train whistle go off.

Got to run the washing machine just beeped. Work in never done.

Have a great evening team............Sue

Hey Team!

Sorry to be MIA, but life and training are crowding in on me! But this too shall pass! I have caught up on the thread, but now I have no time to waste...not that y'all are any kind of waste...it's just that whole reality thing.....

Wearing long pants and jackets here. Supposed to snow, tonight! Yuck! That just makes the miles harder to get! But I am getting them.

Try to be back for more later.....hopefully, maybe, perhaps, could be....maybe not! :rotfl:

Almost forgot to post

Did 15 miles in 2 hours 22 minutes. Wanted to do one last 20 but was too tired. Hopefully it will all work out. One more week then taper for Memphis!

Best,
Jennifer

Yea monday finally. I'm off the next three days and plan to get caught up on training and house stuff.

Kimmer get some help for your PF.

Everyone have an amazing day.

Dave:hippie:

Good Morning !! Another Monday, hope everyone had a pleasant week end w/o injuries. Friday I was on the elliptical doing very well 20 mins down and 25 to go and got called away...... Could not get back in the groove after that.
Patriots blew it last night What we're they thinking :confused3,
Time to get busy and see what happened over the weekend.
:surfweb:

Are we half way through November already? Time flies ... Christmas will be here before we know it and then January!!

Quiet day for me - going to the gym for a training session after work. Back feels a little funky. I think I slept in a funny position. Some days I swear I'm really a 100-year-old woman.

Kim - pixiedust:

Jack - Hooray for injury free weekends! Gotta love those :) Sorry to hear about the interruption in your workout.

Jennifer - Good luck this weekend! I can't wait to see your time!

Dave - Enjoy the time off from work!

Have a great day everyone! :wave2:

Good Morning, TEAM! :wave2:

Rest Day – Raked leaves for an hour, 2nd leaf pick up is this week, so I need to get back out there. My little Hagen was cold and needed to come in.

Scott & Lynn- bummer on the snowfall. Michigan usually has snow on the ground before now but this is way better for training.

Did get in my 4/8 back-to-back miles in this weekend. :goodvibes

Sue- your schedule is ahead of mine, my 6/16 back-to-back miles are next weekend 21st-22nd. Do you have a marathon before January 2010 WDW?

Sue & Vicky- you guys make me tired, but believe me you have awesome training schedules. :worship:

Vicky – wait a few years it gets worse and you will know the difference
Connie-we miss hearing from you. I hope you get caught up soon, so life is not so hectic!

:hippie: Dave- Enjoy your time off. Hope you have great Training Times! ::yes::

Jack- bummer the way life sure gets in the way of training sometimes. ::yes::

Jennifer- Enjoy your Taper Week! :upsidedow

pixiedust:pixiedust: Connie, Kim, Mary, & Lynn pixiedust:pixiedust:

Sorry, but here in Indiana, we were cheering for the Colts!:cheer2:

I am happy to say that my health has greatly improved, and I was able to get in 4 miles on Saturday. I'm VERY far behind my training schedule for the half, but will just have to do the best I can in the time that I have left. Will appreciate any support that anyone here would have for a wogger like me. I'm going to try for 5 miles on Wednesday as we will be out of town this weekend for my granddaughter's christening.

I know I've been MIA for quite a while, but hope to get back in the swing of things now that I'm able to get out and go again.

Hey Mary, it was a great game, better close than a blow out.... Glad you're better. Training is one step at a time,.....:goodvibes

Hi Team!

A quick pop in. Leaving work early today for a dentist appointment. :woohoo:
