Hakuna Matata: Dash away, dash away, dash away All!

Well it's 10:15PM New years Eve, and I'm in the office......... Didn't even make it past 9:00PM.

Oh well I'll be home before next year!

:lmao:

Happy New Year! :goodvibes

Whatever you did I hope everyone had a Safe and Happy New Year's Eve.
And this year 2010 is one filled with health, happiness, and prosperity!
(I think prosperity is a state of mind.)

Happy New Year to All!

Hope everyone has a great day today - I have not had a chance to catch up yet, so cannot respond to anyone. Looking forward to seeing all of you who are headed to WDW here shortly.

Have a great day team!

OK, now I am caught up. Connie, I have hours and miles for Nov and Dec totalled up, just need to send them to you!

Went on-line and printed my final instructions last night, I notice they "discourage" headphones :sad2: anyone have experience with having to remove your tunes? :scared1:

Jack, I never had a problem with anyone saying anything about my I-Pod when headsets were in the "prohibited " section. I was encouraged that they moved from "prohibited" to "discouraged". I used to use only one ear bud, now I have "air buds" which sit outside your ear so that you can still hear what is happening around you.

Safe travels to all who are traveling!

Have a great day team!

Happy New Year everyone! I stayed up waaay too late last night - I had a lot of trouble going to sleep and then waking up again. So I think an afternoon nap is in order :)

Margie - I love watching Up but the first little bit always makes me cry. DF and I watched Wall-E last night. I think he got the idea because I kept saying "Directive!" (referring to the TSA security directive).

Connie - I will send you my hours and mileage tonight. Unofficially, I know I did more than 100 miles but I think I only recorded up to 90+. I can't find where I wrote down my TM miles - bummer :(

Lynn - I noticed the Alaskan cruise clippie in your signature. It looks like fun!

Have a great day everyone!

Happy New Year!
I got in my first run of this decade 5 miles in 42:30. Not a bad start to the year. Hope everyone is having a wonderful new year still. And I hope to meet several of you next Saturday/Sunday

Good Morning, TEAM! :wave2:

Goodness it is 12° here with Real Feel of -2° I still need to get out there and shovel. :cold:

Going to the gym later this morning- ::yes::

I think I am having a Terrible, No Good, Very Bad, Horrible case of the nerves. Anyone else?

We have waited and dreamed of this for year, suddenly it is here, and my brain is not dealing with it!

Hummm...Sunday-Monday-Tuesday are the only days left for me to post, as I will not be posting while at WDW.

We have a change of plans due to unseen delays that could involve weather, traffic, 2-hour plus drive, my sanity, and the need to be there at 5:am for an early flight on Wednesday. We have decided to stay in a Comfort Inn 2-miles from the Detroit Metro Airport Tuesday night.

See you soon- :goodvibes Lynn, MaryJ, & Vicky :donald: Jack and Jennifer :mickeyjum Connie, Dave, Kim, Scott, and Sue :goofy:

 Denise & Mark, and Eva. :sad1: We will miss you guys!

Good Morning Team.

Happy New Year!!!!! Wishing you & your family all the best for 2010.

Changed to a wireless router at home & having problems with connecting to the internet. I am now good to go.

Very cold today. Enjoying :surfweb: & running the afternoon, tomorrow & Mon. Then we are out of here.

Margie, I always have major race anxiety. No matter how many races I do. It seems to get worse instead of better. I just want to get this thing over with before I have a breakdown.:upsidedow

Vicky, DH has done the full Niagara marathon. He grew up in NOTL so this was an important one for him to do. The 1/2 is a gradual down hill following along the Niagara River. Issue is late October with cool (cold) winds off the river. The full is a 2 day affair because you have to clear customs on the Sat. Also an early start to bus everyone over to Buffalo & then waiting a couple of hours before the start. Only 1 major hill, running over the Peace Bridge. I know it is very well organized, with major spectator support/ bands etc.

Have a great day..................Sue

It's 11 degrees outside today, so DH and I are going to the gym for our last long run. I'm getting a little nervous about the weather forecast for the half. I am not a good cold weather runner, and seeing temps of 34 degrees at the start makes me cold just sitting here at my computer! Starting to think about packing some throwaway sweats!

I was thinking it would be really KEWL!!! if the 5K medal was a Grape Soda pin...

Cold and cloudy here this morn, Macadamia nut pancakes have been consumed. Packing, walk/TM , and putting away ( just for Kim LOL) some of the Christmas decorations.

Good morning and a very happy new year y'all.

This year is starting out much better for the poor down trodden panda. I really this this is going to turn into a wonderful year. I get to see everyone in less than a week. Sure wish I had done a little more training.

I hope everyone's aches and pains are under contol now and everyone is realy for the distance.

Connie I'm arriving on the 4th and leaving on the 14th.

Margie this will be a great celebration for Sarah feeling better.

Scott and Lynn, can't wait to see you guys.

Kimmer, hope your foot is doing better.

Jennifer, are you ready to PR?

Everyone have a great rest of the holiday and see you soon.

Dave:hippie:

Dave, I sure hope so. We're really shooting for a BQ (and dreaming of a 3:35)

Went to the gym this morning (paccked with the new year's resolution crowd) 4.25 miles on the Treadmill in 33:30 and then 30 minutes of Strength Training (focusing on core).

I can tell you guys, I'm going to be a mess at the finish line. Either tears of joy for making Boston or disappointment at not (my half time says it should be no problem, but that 3:59 first full has me shaken).

Best,
Jennifer

Jennifer you will do great no doubts about it..

Good Morning, TEAM! :wave2:

Frost layer is thick on the pumpkin this morning it is 4° with a Real Feel of – 4°. It looks like the Real Feel will not get over 1° all day…So it is a bit chilly in Michigan! But no new snow last night. :cold:

Sue- Me Too!

Jennifer-No kidding our gym was packed also. It really did surprise me. It was difficult to get parking space, the machines, weights, areas you wanted to use! :upsidedow

Safe travels to Dave and all those who are leaving early tomorrow for WDW ::yes::

Went to see Blind Side with friends last night- I highly recommend. It is a great true story made into a movie! There is enough family love & humor to off set the sad parts- :goodvibes

Scott-Grape Soda Pin- that is so sweet I want one too!

See you soon

Good Morning Team!

We got all packed yesterday - except for the last minute stuff that we cannot pack until we are ready to go.

Margie - I love watching Up but the first little bit always makes me cry.
Lynn - I noticed the Alaskan cruise clippie in your signature. It looks like fun!

Up always makes us cry also, in the theatre, we cried thru the whole movie, we watched it again the other night, and again cried, just not quite as much.

It is the first Alaskan cruise for Disney - come and join us, it should be lots of fun!

Good Morning, TEAM! :wave2:

In the winter, we always drive to Denver the night before (2 hour drive) just in case the weather/roads are bad.

I want to repeat your last 2 lines, can't wait to see you and sorry not to be able to see all of you!

We packed throw away sweats for Scott, I am planning to wear running tights under my skirt! I also threw in some long sleeved shirts along with the usual T-shirts!

I, too, probably will not make it back here before we leave, and I rarely make it on the computer while we are gone, but maybe. Have a great week all!

I leave out early in the morning. I'm packed and ready. Now if I just had a super model to snuggle with while I'm there:upsidedow I will have a room mate, Dan the race walker from Nashville, starting tues.

I'm ready to hear some music, see some dancing and have lots of interesting and relaxing moments with some world class friends.

I love all of you and can't wait till we can be together again in the happiest place on earth. You are all wonderful role models for others. You have earned the right to be called athletes. When we do the races it will be a celebration of our hard earned fitness and our committment to living a healthy lifestyle.

Dave:hippie:

Good morning, everyone!

Just a couple more days and we can say, "Howdy" :woohoo:

I am nervous, excited, nervous, scared, nervous, anxious, worried, and did I mention, nervous??

I guess we can continue Hakuna Matata on our return.

See ya in the world....We will be thinking of Eva, Mark and Denise!
