MeMom, I am another of those long-time lurkers who really enjoy reading you and your daughter's trip reports. It is so true what others have said, I feel like I know you through reading them. I love when you talk about Pop Century, or shopping, or seeing a show, and I can picture exactly where you are. Keep entertaining us when you have the time, and good luck on another school year. Take care.
Thanks for chiming in! We always enjoy meeting new Disney friends. You may think you know us, but if you ever meet us in person and hear these country accents, that will open a whole new chapter to what you think about us.
Today has been busy, busy, busy. I am going to leave the building in about an hour, but I needed a break, so I made it a DIS break.
Good luck for the first day back at school! Seems ridiculously early to me considering we have over a month to go!
Anything for extra disney $$ right? Hope it goes well!
I'm always looking forward to your pictures, but I'll try not to hold my breath.
I posted a while back and wanted to let you know I am still here reading, just not really posting cause I have a lot going on. The girls are all so cute though. Everything that you do with them reminds me of things that I used to do with my grandma when I was a kid. I know they will cherish those memories forever. You are starting early and my college is starting the latest it has ever started I don't go back until August 26. Hope you have a good school year and the kids don't give you to many problems.
The trade-off is that we'll get two weeks three times during the year, and we'll get out in late May at the end of the year. I really can't complain about our work schedule.
Summer went by SO FAST!! I can't believe it'll be August this week. Just wild.
I don't know if I've said, but I sold my condo & I'll be moving in the next few weeks so in my free time, I've been packing boxes & doing Goodwill runs.

I'll live with my parents for a few months while I decide what place I want.
I'm glad you got to see the girls this weekend -- that's nice you're close enough to meet halfway.
Maybe we'll see you on an episode of House Hunters!!!
Yes, we meet halfway sometimes when it's going to be longer than two weeks before we cross paths. Three weeks is too long not see those girls!
I haven't used Garden Grocer but here's what I know from CM experience. When Garden Grocer delivers to the resort and the guest isn't in the room, CM will keep cold groceries in a fridge until delivered to the guest.
No chocolate chip pancakes, how sad.
I like the one with the all pink handles.
The snow white shirt is cute.
So sweet of the nameless DISfriend.
I don't know much about cars either but some of those look nice.
I have watched a movie there. It's my favorite AMC theatre. But that was before there was Dine-in theatre options.
I want to do Disney bowling too.
Good luck with the new school year at the PT job.
Maybe we'll have a bowling meet one of these days. You won't laugh at me, will you? Maybe if I use bumper pads, I can hit triple digits.
Love the shopping...and yes, I can almost smell Basin and can't wait to be there in three weeks.
I love all the Precious Moments. I collect them...and, actually, have over 300 of them. They are all boxed up except for my Disney ones which I am keeping. All the "baby" related ones will go to Alisha and all of the others I am waiting for my goddaughter to pick up (I willed them to her and as we plan to move in three years, I am slowly getting rid of stuff).
I'm not much for cars either...except to get me where I need to be. But my hubby loves them and we go to a place by us called Long Grove every year to see all the old cars.
Sophie is adorable all snuggled with her blanket.
Drew would know all about the engines and tires and everything. He's got a great memory when it comes to that kind of thing. School work - he didn't have such a wonderful memory.
Maybe you can send us some Basin and other DTD pictures when you go.
Well, cars are not really my thing either, but I would be happy to see some if I were in Downtown Disney. Congratulations on your job, and good luck with the beginning of school. I hope you get a class full of sweet, well behaved children!
I hope I do, too! I had a really good group last year. I would love to have the same this year, but that would be asking a lot. I will find out very soon!
I hope you first day back was smooth transition. I love your reports and can wait as you slowly turn them out. Good luck with your new part time job. You can do like Dory and tell your self "just keep swimming" until that next Disney trip.
Lots of meetings and paperwork today. Hopefully a bit less tomorrow and more time to work in our rooms. I will have to take a Disney reminder with me to my new job. When my leg feels like it is going to fall off, I will look at it to help me get through until I collect that Disney money!
Okay, you should have never told me to close my eyes when the shopping pictures were coming up.........I fell asleep and almost missed the CARS!!!
Love those character waffles at the food court, and the omelet looked really good!
Happy to hear about the part time job! Any opportunity to feed the Disney addiction is
In my own way I am a little relieved it might slow down your TR a little. Maybe now I can do a better job of keeping up!
Disney waffles are so good, as is the fruit. Sadly for Bella, there was no breakfast macaroni on the menu.
Every dollar I make on the new job is going straight to my Disney needs.
