Hairdryers?

We're staying at POR in 3 1/2 weeks banana: )

Im trying to decide whether to rely on the hairdryer in my room or if I should bring mine? How powerful are the ones in the room?

I haven't had any problems (footnote -- during MOST of our WDW trips it's off season & I don't want to walk around with wet-hair AND during most of these trips my hair was halfway down my back and VERY thick [I have to have it thinned on a regular basis], my braid was about 2" wide).

The blow dryers have consistently seemed powerful enough to me (the only one I ever had a problem with was at Boardwalk Inn & that one sounded like it wanted to blow up not blow dry).

The hairdryer in our room at CSR last month was fine. If the ones at POR are like the ones at CSR, you should be ok.

I am not a fan of hotel hair dryers. If you like lots of air bring your hair dryer from home.

At the Swan the hairdryers are very powerful. I try not to pack more than I know I will need.

If something is wrong with the one you have in the room just call housekeeping and they will bring you one.
