Dh and I took DS down to the Magic Kingdom yesterday and got his haircut while we were there. For those that wanted to know, it's $14 for kids and $17 for adults (not bad at all). There are only 2 chairs so the line looks like it can get long.

Telling the CM what he wanted

Your son is adorable! I love the cut :flower: Where do they sell rice dream ice cream? Do you know if soy milk is sold in the parks?

Too cute!!!!

My son had those mickey heads and every time he bent over one fell out he picked it up and put it back in his hair.

I don't know about soy milk, need to find that out. If you find out before I do let me know please. LOL

The Ice Cream Palor on Main St. has Tuffutti (Vanilla and Chocolate) and they have Rice Dream (Vanilla). If you tell them the person is allergic they are to take off their gloves, wash their hands, change gloves and get it from a safe spot in the back with clean scoops. DS wanted sprinkles and they even got those out the box itself instead of the spot upfront where everyone else gets sprinkles from.

Your son is a doll!! It is a tradition that we stop at the Berber Shop for hair cuts whenever we get to Magic Kingdom. In fact, the picture in my signature was taken right after my DS and DD had thier hair done.

Thank you for sharing!!

Trish

my dd's wanted pixie dust and get but not haircuts. They only charged $5 each. The line does get long with only 2 CM's.

I have been looking forward to getting my son's hair cut there. I thought he would love it since he's always loved getting haircuts. He's 3 1/2 and has always sat still and been very good. A couple of times he even fell asleep. But now I'm not sure. Today my dh took him for a trim and he threw a fit and kicked and screamed. So he brought him home. I took him back an hour later and he acted fine for a couple of minutes and then started again. He ended up sitting on my lap and crying while we both got covered in hair. (yuck) Nothing hurt him and since he gets a trim about once a month it just seemed weird that he is suddenly afraid. I don't know if I want to stand in line to see him start this at DW. So now I'm kind of disappointed. Oh well, I guess I'll have reason to go back again. (like I needed one :rotfl: )

The pictures of your son are great, he's adorable. I should think about doing this for our upcoming trip. Nieces would love it!!! They do, do girls too?

cara76 Great pictures!! Now I know we have to take our 2 year old GS for a cool dude haircut!!! :cool1:

Thank you for the rice dream info. My son is also allergic to corn. Tofutti has corn but most of the rice dream flavors don't. I so happy to find that out :)

Lilpoohs your very welcome! If I find it at other parks I'll let you know.

I have a feeling that I have 2 kids that will want a hair cut when we are down there in 12 days :Pinkbounc

Great pictures!

They even did a great job on the "bald spots". :)
