I am looking into getting a new hair straightener. what kind do you use? What would you reccomend? I have some what wavy hair but it is really really thick.

I use some random Conair one.
It's a 2 in 1, straightener curler thing, that I don't recommend you buy. The lock broke on it, so now it's only good as a straightener.
If your hair is thick, you should probably get a more expensive one that goes hotter.

I use remmington's wet to straight one. It works really well on wet or dry hair, though it will give yo some nasty steam burns if you're not careful. It can get really hot, which is nice, but you can keep it cooler, too for touch-ups and such.

Her Style. It costs around 200$, but it's like MAGIC. You only go over a peice of your hair once, and it's as straight as a board.

Magic I tell you.

I can't remember what kind i use and I'm too lazy to go and check.
It works great though, it was about 100$ i believe.

I burned my back with it though recently.
(because I'm an idiot)
I was parting my hair in the back (with my straightener in my hand of course, because God forbid i put it down)
aaaand it touched my back, and it was on HIGH heat, and it have a terribly ugly mark now.

but it strightens my frizzy hair like a charm!

I use Remmington's Wet to Straight also. For me it works better when my hair is wet. But I also bought the wrong one......I bought the one inch curve one. And my hair is thick and wavy. But I know they have thicker ones that will probally work better. ;)

i use some one thats good with wet and dry hair but i cant remember at the moment what its called.

one time i burned my ear with it. like the whole ear lobe thing. i didnt see what i was doing and i clamped it down. that hurt really bad lol. and i have slow nerves or whatever that tells you something hurts so it got burnt pretty bad.

well, I don't straighten my hair because It's wicked straight already so I would just suggest Conair because that's the one that I use for curling my hair.

well i just got straighteners today (its my birthday) and I got GHDs. They make be expensive but they are definitely worth it! Well I've only used them once so actually I can't really talk! But yeh they are good!
:goodvibes
