We are leaving in about 2 hours for the airport, does anyone know if there are Hair Dryers in the rooms at BCV. We will have a two bedroom lockoff, and since I cannot sleep anymore I thought I would post.

Thanks everyone

We haven't stayed at BCV, but all of the master baths at OKW, BWV, and Vero have hairdryers. So I am fairly sure that BCV will have them too.

This was actually a contributing factor of buying into DVC. My wife and I stayed at CBR the first weekend in Aug and along with many other issues, they don't have hair dryers in the rooms there, for $180/night. We were spoiled from WL and VWL and nearly every other hotel in the country that has added hair dryers to their rooms I guess. We did find out that you can call house keeping and request one and in about 2 hrs they'll bring one right to you. She said "if we can't afford to stay at above moderates or buy DVC, we weren't coming back." Yeah right, not go back, what was she thinking???:D

Does the 2nd bedroom also have a hairdryer or just the Master Bedroom?

How strong are they? Do they take forever to dry your hair?

The are normal hair dryers. Similar to what I have at home, as far as how strong they are.
Only difference...they are connect to the wall.

When we visited VWL in June our dedicated 2BR did not have a dryer in the second bedroom. We called Housekeeping and had one within 20 minutes. It was a full sized dryer. I have been told that the lockouts do have them in the second bedroom, but I can't confirm this.

They are great!!! In fact I bought one just like it for my bathroom.
It is 1500 watts.

ok great, thanks Gail. One less thing I have to worry about packing. :D
