Hey everyone!! I am so sorry I haven't been back in a while. My mom had to go back in the hospital She is finally at home and starting to feel better!

I just wanted to drop by and wish you all a Blessed Easter! We had a Easter Egg hunt today for our church. Then tomorrow we are going to my parents for a cookout and egg hunt! I will have some pictures to share and also start on our next Disney day!

Aaw I'm sorry your mum was ill again I am glad to hear she is starting to feel better again.

I've tried to make butterbeer at home, I hope to try the real thing one day.

Even though Hollie did not like a lot of the rides, at least she was brave enough to try them (with the exception of Jaws.)

Oh wow! You had a really great day, full of lots of fun! The story about Hollie watching Jaws was hilarious. I'm sorry some of the rides scared her but what a big girl for giving them a try anyway!

What a productive day at Universal! I was just reading your Harry Potter update to Chris and we're so upset that we're not going there in June, we want to check it out soooo badly! It's just too much money for us right now to go for just one day.

Hollie is sooo funny! She reminds me of me at that age because I was scared of EVERY RIDE...at least she'll go on most of them and then just get scared while on it haha I would just refuse and throw a fit to not have to go on at all!

It sure was! You have to go there! It was so much fun!!!

She is something else girl!! lol She loves roller coasters just not the animatronics that come with them! lol

wowser, that was an update worth the wait Heather! you got so much done! poor Hollie was maybe just having a bit of a nervous day...my little cousin closed her eyes on every 3d ride we went into from start to finish and we had to just poke her when it was over, it didn't matter how much she got teased or encouraged to give it a try she was determined! so at least Hollie is giving them all a good shot!

Great updates, Heather! Did you get through the storms okay last night? They missed us completely. The two that were really bad -- one went north of us and one went south of us. I felt very lucky!

Hollie cracked me up with all of her excuses to not ride Jaws! She is a very creative girl!

Harry Potter looks amazing. It is the one thing that might get my boyfriend down to Orlando. He's never been to Disney, wants to go to Disney, but is way more interested in WWOHP.

The first time we took Hollie, she was 23 months old. She did really good but wanted to go to the hotel most of the time! lol It wasn't that she didn't like the parks, she just was amazed at hotels at that age. She was like, whoa...2 beds, a tv, sink and everything in one room!!! lol

You guys got to go on so many rides in one day! The parks looked so empty. Haha your FJ ride photo sounded hilarious. I can't remember why I didn't take a redneck photo of mine. Hollie is so brave though. Even if a ride scares her she is still willing to go on more

And the blow dryers, we have those in our mall bathrooms. They are SO nice! You don't have to stand under the dryer for 15 mins, like you do with the old ones. My DD and I like to watch our skin blow all wrinkley.

We've never been to Universal Studios, but it looks like fun! So cool that there were no waits.

Uhm, yeah, Scream Machine gives me neck and head aches. I doubt Spiderman could be worse than that! Funny that she kept getting upset, but kept on getting on rides! My kids would freak out once and just be done. Good for her!

I'm SOOOOOOOO glad you included harry potter in your update i am OBSSESSED with harry potter!!!!!! i went there in january and LOVED IT!!!!! I think I spent the entire day there with the exception of walking through suess landing to get in and out of the park. I felt bad for hollie when you were saying she got scared. I can totally see how the dementors would be scary to a little kid. I liked hearing about the rest of your day at universal as well.

Great stuff about HP! I can't wait to see it all in October 2012 when we go with Ray's sister. I do have a couple of questions about US. Is it always that slow? We are going during Josh's (Ray's nephew) fall break, so I'm assuming early October. We were gonna take 2 days to cover US but I don't know if we need it! The main thing we want to do is the HP stuff but I'm sure we'll want to see other areas of the park, too.

I will say I don't like how they don't let you take a camera into the Hogwart's castle.....those are some prime pictures we're missing!!!!

Well, it has seemed to be low crowds more and more each year we go. I think its the time of year and all. We have gone in October before and it wasn't too bad crowd wise.

My son Alex was born in December. We're taking him this December for his first birthday to WDW. How was your trip with a 6 month old? I have a PTR going for our trip in Dec 'cause I have no idea how to plan a trip with a child should be interesting.

We've always been able to get both parks done in one day several times. We probably do it in the opposite direction of everyone else though. We start out with IA working clockwise starting with the Hulk. We're usually done by noon-1:00 and then head over to US for the rest of the day.

I think thats the way to do it! We are usually done with US by lunch time. It always works out so nicely!

Not a silly question at all!! The lockers were free for I think it was either 30 minutes or 45 minutes which I think is crazy considering the wait for that ride on other days has been over an hour!

The egg hunt for our Church is held at a members house. He actually owns a lot of car dealerships and his whole family lives around him and his wife. Well, they always have the egg hunt there and they use his helicopter to drop the eggs from above before the hunt starts! I will post some pictures of it! It was really neat!

Yay!! I am finally caught up now!! So so sorry guys!! My mom is still not 100% and its been crazy around here. Chad has an injection for his back scheduled tomorrow so he will be in the bed all weekend, Sunday is supposed to be Baby Dedication at Church but I am thinking I might have to wait to do that the next time. Chad missed Hollie's because of his back surgery and I know he wants to be there this time. Then my mom still feels sick, and I have to have her there!!
Last night we had some awful storms!! It hit worse in Alabama. I am saying a lot of extra prayers for the people who were hit with the awful devastation! It was just terrible!

Hopefully while Chad is resting tomorrow, I can get on here and update.

Major bummer about Chad and his back. That's good of you to postpone the Baby Dedication for him though. I hope he can go to the next one. Back issues are rough! Chris' dad was laid up in bed for a year due to a really bad back.

I am still shuddering from it!!! Thanks for helping to keep us posted through it!!! It was not fun being without power and not knowing what was going on outside. Not to mention seeing that one tornado behind the subdivision -- it was lightning so much it was easy to see it. Very scary!
