Do not let them push her into leaving before she feels well. Ugh, that makes me so irritated! A ruptured appendix is a big deal, she needs time to recover at the hospital. Poor thing! Hang in there.

Thank you all so much for the prayers for my mom. Yes, they did send her home on Friday. Which was ridiculous because she was still sick. She is feeling a little bit better but is still really sore and has been sick some. She is ready to feel better!
Hopefully I can get another update this week. Hollie is out on Spring Break and we might take her out of town this weekend.

There are some bad storms on the way here! UGH!! I am just crossing my fingers there isn't a tornado with these storms.

Hey ya'll!!

Thank you all so much for your thoughts and prayers for my mom. She was actually released last Friday. Yeah, I know I know! She was sick for about 2 days after that. She is slowly starting to feel better. She just has to get all the medicines and infection out of her system. She has her good moments and bad moments. I took the girls to see her last night and she started to feel bad so we left so she could rest. But thank you all so much for your prayers

I am gonna try to have another update this week. We had some bad storms last night and I didn't get much rest so I doubt it will be tonight. But, coming up will be our Universal day!! Yay!!!!

I hope your mom is feeling better soon. I've actually been through that myself. No fun. My appendix ruptured, they removed the drains then next day and I ended up with abscesses and a second surgery. Fortunately I had youth on my side (16) and healed pretty quickly.
Looking forward to more TR and good new about your mom.

That is TERRIBLE about your mother! I can't believe that the doctors kept her out of surgery so long, causing her appendix to rupture!! How horrible! I'm glad to hear she's on the mend. Hopefully she'll take it easy. Poor thing.

I've love reading your TR so far!! Guess what?! I forgot my makeup last year when I went to Disney!! After a trip to MAC and Sephora, I had all new makeup and dh couldn't say a word

I hope your mom has a speedy recovery. After all the crap we have gone through with Dr.s my suggestion is to talk to a lawyer now to cover yourselves. That was unacceptable what the hospital did.

Hey everyone! I had planned on doing an update earlier this week. But it has been one crazy week!
My mom got sick Tuesday and we thought it was a virus. Nope! My dad ending up taking her to the ER Wednesday morning and they said she had appendicitis. Well, I left work to go up there. Once I got there to see her, they had her scheduled for surgery later that day. I am very, very upset with that hospital! The nurse came in at 4:15 to say the doctor was running late and would be here later. Well, she was scheduled at 4. Then they came back in at 5:15 and said that he bumped my mom and put someone in front of her because theirs was perforated. Well, my moms was too!!!! My dad was very ticked off as well as me and my sister. They finally took her back at 6:40 for surgery and because of them putting it off, her appendix ended up rupturing!! She was very sick that night and all day yesterday. She feels a little better this morning but still feels bad. now they are trying to send her home today. I am so glad my sister is up there because she is very outspoken! My grandmother is there right now so my dad could go home and rest a bit. She does not need to go home today especially as sick as she was yesterday and last night. I am going up there today after work to deal with this. To say I am mad is a very big understatement!!! But, once everything calms down I will be back to do my next update!

How horrible for you guys and your mom! Just outrageous how she was treated! I hope you guys gave them several pieces of your mind! And I hope your mom gets to finally feeling better!
