I've been married for 23 years. I had just turned 28 two weeks before my wedding. DH is 2 years younger than me. Like Aunt Jo, I think our secret is that he can put up with my craziness.

I might win the award, so far, for being oldest at the time of first marriage. I was 40 when we got married and we have been married for a little over 3 years.

We celebrated our 8th wedding anniversary on September 24th. I was 24 and dh was 26 at the time of the wedding.

September 24th is also the anniversary of our first date, which happened in 1988 (14 years ago.)

Both sets of our parents divorced. I hope that we have better luck than they did.

BTW Congratulations to all celebrating anniversaries this week--I guess that September is about as popular as June when it comes to weddings.
