Hurricanes aside, we know FL is known for passing showers. For this reason I like to take a pair of flip flops/sneakers into the park (I also find switching shoe types mid-day keeps my feet happy).
For this trip I didn't pack any plastic bags. So I used the bags that the WDW resort, in-room cups were wrapped in to stuff my shoes into, before putting them in my backpack. Then, mid-day, when putting my already used shoes into my backpack, I have the baggies to slip the dirty shoes into.
I had scissors that I used to carefully cut the cup bags open at the very top, preserving as much of the bag as possible.
I'm a shoe size 6. This probably will only work up to a certain shoe size and shoe type. But certainly will work for kid's shoes.
