H & V split table reservation

I was having trouble with MDE making our ADRs, so I had to wait til 7 to call instead (very frustrating morning). We have a party of 8, we tried to schedule lunch at H&V, no times were avail & CM suggested looking for 2 tables of 4. She found 2, made reservations 5 mins apart. Told me we should show up 15 mins early & let them know we are together so they can move tables closer together. I booked them. Anyone have experience with this? Did it work out well?

have had a big group since covid but precovid this was no problem but usually took a few extra minutes and mind was a party of 14

We were there about 2 weeks ago and saw a larger party along the front windows where multiple tables were pushed together. I can't remember exact numbers, but I seem to remember counting out 10 people. So I think you should be good.
