H&V - really that bad ?

Has H&V gone down hill for dinner ?
We have not eaten there since 2003.

So many posts have not given H&V a great review for the Fantasmic Package.

If we did an early dinner at H&V - maybe at around 5 pm, would the buffet be better ?

Please help, our 180 day mark for ADR's is around the corner

We went to H&V as part of our Fantasmic package last year and we thought it was great. The food was really good and the staff was also very nice (I was in a wheelchair for that trip and the staff made a point to actually look at me and talk to me like I was a person. Very refreshing.)

I'm curious about H&V also, DH & I have ADR's for our November trip.

We ate there in August FDP. Had a 4:50pm ressie. The food was plentiful and decent. I wouldn't say it was the best meal we had but it was still good. We also had the best waitress at H & V. She was the best one we had all week. The dessert bar was very good IMHO.

We ate there in August and enjoyed it. I would eat there again! But you have to take into consideration that our tastes are not very discriminating... I will eat just about anywhere if it means I don't have to cook!!!!

H & V still as good as always, had the Fantasmic pkg. there in June, 16 of us and we all enjoyed very much. Good food, nice atmosphere, very nice server, we got in right on time. Been there 4 times since 02, never disappointed.

Glad to read the positive reviews. We stumbled upon H&V in 2002 for lunch and it happened to be a character luncheon. It was the most fun we had at any of our meals the whole trip and we thought the food was great.

We are going back to H&V for the Fantasmic package, Dec 1st. I'm not too thrilled with the characters they have their now, but am looking forward to a good meal at a great park

We have dined at H&V twice for the Fantasmic dinner package. Yum both times. They do have a pretty good selection and the food was all fresh and plentiful. The first time we dined there in 2005 there seemed to be more of an asian theme to the food whereas in 2006 there was more of a variety. No complaints either time.

We will do H&V for our Fantasmic Package.
We will try for an early ADR - even 4:30 PM is fine with us if we do a very light 11 am lunch. For a snack we can get popcorn at Fantasmic to easy any stomach hunger pangs.
