I am trying to decide if I need to gt one of these or not. I can combine fonts from multiple cartriges together and weld them right? Can you make shadows for all the fonts or just the ones that come with shadows? You can make things taller, shorter, fatter, etc. right? so I can make borders that are 12" and not have to also have them increase in height.

YES, YES, and YES!! I absolutely love my gypsy and it can do everything that you just asked. Sometimes shadowing without the shadow feature can be a pain but I love all the other features!!! Search YouTube for how to videos and check out the cricut messageboards. The ladies over there are awesome at answering all if your questions!!
