GV at OKW in Sept (7 month window)

I'm buying points at SSR, but wondered how hard it is to reserve a Grand Villa at OKW for the month of September? Will I be able to get one at the 7 month window or is that not likely?

Sept is a low point month - but I have yet to see OKW full booked in Sept - so I think your chances are pretty good.

when can you make reservations in your non-home resort - it is May????

if that is time - then you may have some problems - you can always post on the trade/rental board and see if someone want to trade their OKW points for your SSR points.

We have done OKW several times in September, and I have never seen the resort full even with the low points. I suspect the fact that school has just recently been back in session might be why. I have also run into folks who were on II exchanges at that time of year, and one got a GV when they had requested a 2 bedroom, so I think there is a good chance you will get it. If not, you can always waitlist too.

im an OKW owner and booked a GV for the1st week in Sept with no problem. I even waited until the last day of my stay to make the call. We were down there the same time this year and OKW was only at about 40% occupancy.

IMO you shoudn't have a problem at all. OKW has 27 GV's,kids are back in school,etc. You won't know until you call MS.

Just ask MS at the 7 month window if you should do day by day booking for the GV.
