GV at 7 months?

Has anyone had any luck getting any GV at 7 months? We are looking to stay November 4-10 (right in the middle of Jersey Week). How are my chances? Also, is it really crowded during Jersey week? My husband is quite adament that we don't take the kids out of school for more than 3 days. Thanks in advance for your insight, Elena

I got a GV at OKW for the week before Thanksgiving - Nov 12 - 17, 2006. I was on the waitlist for about 2 months (?).

Sorry, but I am not familiar with Jersey week so I can't help you with any info on the crowds and availability.

This is during the Food and Wine Festival at Epcot and I would think a GV at BWV would be next to impossible at 7 months. There are no GV's at VWL or BCV so that eliminates those resorts. The other resorts have limited numbers of GV's and the have a tendency to go pretty fast. I would guess the ones at OKW would be difficult at 7 months during F&W because they are so large and require far fewer points than other GV's.

If your group can split up to multiple units, then you may want to get a reservation at your home resort for a couple of units now and then call at 7 months to see what you can come up with in the way of a GV. Hopefully you will be surprised
