I had no idea where this should be posted so forgive me if it's in the wrong section but I just stumbled across this video.

A guy goes in Disneyland dressed as Mrs. Potts, paying tribute of his sister who died of cancer. It's a really nice video & just hoping to give it a few more views it deserves.

Awesome-sauce!!!!! LOVE this video. Definitely brought a big smile to my face. Nothing like the love of a sibling to make you do the most amazing things...

Thanks for sharing MarkF0wle! :thumbsup2

Great stuff! :thumbsup2 DL needs their own version of Enchanted Tales With Belle so he could play the Mrs. Potts part.

Relax, Disneyland security, I'm pretty certain that no one is confused that he may be a real Cast Member. I wonder if our Disneyland message board has a few bitter members that are annoyed that he "skirted the rules." :furious:

What a wonderful tribute to his sister! I love how positive the whole thing was! Very cool :goodvibes

He was warned not to take pictures with guests. He broke the rules! He should have been escorted out like that Tinker Bell imposter last year.

Seriously?!

He was not posing as a character. It was pretty obvious he was NOT Mrs Potts, nor was he trying to be.

Disney's official stance is that adults in costumes cannot sign autographs or form a formal line for a M&G. He can take pictures if he wants to, just like you or I could take pictures with strangers if we wanted to. He just cant form a line.

I hate being right all the time.

Not to stand with PP, but I've witnessed people with even the crappiest/most inaccurate costumes being told not to take photos with ANYONE at these events.

I'm gonna keep wearing cool costumes to MNSSHP, make plain to anyone who asks that I'm not a CM, and I'm gonna keep posing with people.

You don't wanna get mixed up with a guy like me. I'm a loner, Dottie. A rebel.

Thanks, Mark, for sharing! I found it very heartwarming not just because he was honoring his sister but how the other guests took part in cheering him on, joining him in pics, and mugging for his video. That is the Disneyland that I know and love.

A couple of years ago I was at a MNSSHP and was next to a teen with a bag full of candy. When I remarked, "Wow, you were able to get a lot of candy!" she just gave me an annoyed look... More like a stink-eye. My CM DD said, "Mom, Mom, you aren't in Disneyland... people won't talk to you here!" Sad...:sad2:
