Can't check on the official DLP site because my phone doesn't do flash but on the DLRPmagic site it has the closures for Feb up. Pirates of the Caribbean is not only closed all January but all of Feb. I am hoping this is wrong as its one of my favourite rides but I bet it's correct.
Are they Johnny Depping it? Does anyone know?
I know one ride shouldn't spoil the magic but the year Peter Pan was shut the whole time we were there - I have to say - I felt a loss.

2 years ago when we went to DLP in March POTC was closed the whole time of our visit. Its my favourite ride at DLP and I was disappointed, I won't lie - but at the same time the floor of Fantasyland was being relaid, and the Castle was being refurbished, so the place was covered in green boarding. I really wasn't impressed, it looked awful, but my kids didn't even notice and they had a brilliant time :confused3.

We are at DLP in February, so no POTC again - but we'll just go into Phantom Manor this time round for a warm-up instead ;).

Oh no! I feel your pain, I'd be so disappointed if I didn't get to go on POTC. As to whether they're adding Jack Sparrow - opinion seems to be divided on Twitter. Apparently it took three months to add him to WDW which means they may not be adding him DLP just yet.

We are there in March 2013 too and I pray that POTR will be open then. It is one of your favourite rides and my little daughter would be very sad to hear its closed.

Keep fingers crossed it will be open at the end of March.

:worship:

we've been twice and twice POTC was closed. And Castle was refurbished and we couldn't see Sleeping Beauty's chamber either, I do hope everhing is open when we go in March 2013.

same here too and DS loved POTC and Buzz last time. Such a dissapointment and to be fair if DLP were more open - as in give reasons for closures - I dont think it would sting so much. If we knew something was being refurbed or improved whos going to complain.

I hear ya! I go in 2 weeks and no potc, buzz, autopia & many more! it's like they took every ride my boys would want to do and closed it for our visit lol. I guess the price I pay for going off season but still sucks

It does suck. No Small World either :(

I was thinking of taking a friend for a quick 2 day but with all the closures I just don't see that it is a good time show off DLP

A cm told me and DH in November that jack may be popping up!
Not too sure where I stand on it though!

Well I am slightly biased by my love of Johnny D.
I have been on the WDW ride and the DLP one is better but I think it will be enhanced by the lovely Jack.
Can't believe how many closures in Jan. Maybe I should be more grateful to being forced to go in school hols.

I hope it all will be open in March! Can't believe they wouldn't.

We're going the last week of Feb - hope it opens early enough for us to have at least one ride as a family.

Still, I knew something would be down for maintenance going at a quiet time of year. At least it's not something that's unique to Paris.

When DH and I went to DLR, we missed out on a heap of rides that were either down for re-furb or not quite open yet - the whole of Critter Country was closed! No parades either. Before we went I was really disappointed, but once we got there, I hardly even noticed and TBH I'm not sure how we would have found time to do all those extras anyway :rotfl:

I've read POTC is down until the middle of March, The 16th I think. I read this about a month ago on one of the french forums so who knows. They do seem to be pretty right about these sorts of things so its only a matter of time until we know.
Bit disappointed so many things are closed when we are there. POTC, IASW, The steamboat, Casey Jr, Storybook boats, Tram tour. Luckily most of these things we would only do once, I am trying to look at it in that light, if it were thunder mountain, Crush, Buzz or something it would be really disappointing.
It was a shame as it is my sisters first visit to DLP and she is pirates CRAZY, and we are also taking my partners mother on her second visit, whos favourite ride is IASW and that was closed on her first visit a couple of years ago! Casey Jr was also closed when we went in September.
Nevermind, I'm going to get an annual pass when we're there, it's a good excuse to go in October ;)

oh, I hope it's right. we are coming 20th of March. Been there twice and twice POTC was closed. I hope for minor closures this time.

Were there fron march 24th so hopefully your right, cant wait for march hours/closures are up so we can start planning proper.
