Guillan-Barre, anyone with experience?

I have visited about every web site possible. Eight hours in ER last night gave me no real information. The spinal tap was within normal limits, so perhaps that is good news. I do know that can sometimes be an inconclusive test, and the EMG Monday will tell more. AT any rate, now I feel awful from the spinal tap on top of still having difficulty breathing and being numb and sore all at the same time. Sure wish I had some energy to get this under control! I also wish I had a definite diagnosis!

I'm glad to have some info that would help. Sometimes (at least in the medical world), no information is good information, even though it is frustrating. If you think of the whole situation as a puzzle, each piece all by itself might not look like anything, but each piece that says "yes" or "no" works with all the other pieces to make the total picture a little clearer.
Good luck to you and more pixie dust (I've got a good source since my DD says she is TinkerBell - she even wrote a college paper about why she must be TinkerBell), anyway, lots of {{{{hugs}}}} to you.

LOL! Tell Tink to start working overtime! This all started with a high fever that lasted 5 days about 3 weeks ago.
