I agree with everyone who says they are rushing the storylines too quickly to wrap everything up by the end of the week in a neat little bundle..

By Friday they will have to bury Alan; have Phillip and Beth married; ship Josh off to another country; send Rafe off to the military (possibly having developed a relationship with Ashley); and either have Jeffrey come home after killing Edmond OR have them both kill each other in a "face off"..

It seems to me that they've known for quite awhile now that the show was going to be ending and it would have gone much smoother if they had started to wrap up some of these story lines a couple of months ago..

Oh well.. At least it's just not going to go "poof" as some others have in the past..

They have definitely rushed the storylines, BUT I would rather have some closure(tho I'd PREFER to see them all on my screen every day) than to have none at all and be left wondering what happened to all of my beloved characters.

As for Phillip being healed in a day's time, I think that Phillip or Beth made some reference to it being about 3 weeks ago(soap time for ya!) Not that 3 weeks is a great time to improve, but I think they were attempting to make it seem like time had elapsed.


I have loved seeing all the characters from years past on here, tho I do wish they had focused on all of this history when it was greatly needed...maybe then we wouldn't be saying goodbye

I don't ever remember Lilian as a slut!!!! She did sleep with Ed, but that was her one and only mistake-it was just a biggie!

She was married to Bradley and I'm assuming Beth's father. I think she just wasn't ever a "happy" bride.

Bridget and Dylan split up so they could bring that awful nuDylan to town a few years back. Remember, he tried to get Harley back. I'm so glad they brought the "real" Dylan back for the end.

I don't remember what happened with Nola and Vanessa either. I'm going to try to find it.


I lost it several times today, but when Phillip collapsed in Allan's lap......

thank you....all I could remember from when I first started watching was Lillian was considered easy (but you've got to remember I was 13)

I think Nola was at one time Vanessa's sister-in-law.......Henry Chamberlain had a long, lost love child & he turned up & married Nola Reardon....I can't remember his name,but he was Vanessa's half-brother - I think he is in a group cast picture from the 80's - he was soft-spoken, & had brown hair.

Quint (he played Blade on Y&R, and Blade's evil twin brother, and was married for many years to Hunter Tylo). According the bio on soapcentral, Nola went back to him after she went psycho for Buzz, but that was a decade ago. So I'm still lost on why she and Vanessa were at odds.

Tomorrow:


Josh wants Billy to help him kidnap Reva so that he can marry her.

Jeffrey fires at Edmund yet again...and misses.For a worldclass secret agent, his aim sucks!

Meanwhile, Josh thinks it over and decides that Reva isn't ready yet. He decides to move back to Oklahoma(I thought he was going to Venezuela?) and says his good-byes.

Reva thinks that Jonathan should move into Cassie's cottage(????). Jonathan tells Tammy that he's moving in there.

Mel and Cyrus make love.

Remy can't find proof that he and Christina's married, and Christina's pregnant.

Ed tells Holly that they are taking a trip around the world together.

Fletcher's back in town looking for Alex.

Alan's ashes are spread on the lake. Then Phillip and James play frisbee.

Michelle and Danny tell Rick they're coming home.

good stuff! I'm just loving the tying up of loose ends (even if it's not perfect) did anyone watch "Capital" way back when? They just left that soap HANGING and it really sucked!

Didn't Holly and Fletcher have a baby named Meg. Holly didn't even mention her to Blake.

Wow, Peyton grew up fast. Poor kid's always stuck up in her room. While her neice, Sarah is all over town.

That was Katherine Chancelor and Michael Baldwin from Y&R! I knew that they wanted to be on this week, as a tribute to the show. They both say they are fans. But what a stupid way to write them in. The characters (they weren't playing their Y&R characters-just some old lady and her boytoy!) made no sense at all!

Holly and Fletcher had a Downs' baby. Fletcher left Holly and took Meg with him.

I've always wanted Josh and Reva together, until she was with Jeffrey. Now I wouldn't be happy if they got back together, knowing that Jeffrey is still alive and trying to get back to her. He'd better return before it's all over. I do feel bad for Josh though.

I watched GL while I was on maternity leave almost 10 years ago and kept with it for a while, but then I stopped taping it. I started a couple of weeks ago watching since it was ending just to see who is who and what not and I am pretty lost LOL. Is there a family tree or anything that I figure things out?
