Guidebook question

Can anyone suggest which guidebook has the best sight-seeing itinerary for Hollywood and the surrounding area? There are so many things we want to see, but I'm having a hard time putting them into any kind of order. I hate to drive around aimlessly (and I'm a chronic planner).
