Hello!

Does anyone have the operating hours of guest services at Downtown Disney and the Ticket booths at the various parks?I would need to upgrade my 10 day ticket to an AP without waisting some precious park time....! So, if possible, I would like to go either before park opening or after park closing....

Thank you! :goodvibes

Guest relations Offices (GRO) can be found just outside and inside every theme park, and the Transportation and Ticket Center at the MK parking lot, and at the International Gateway at Epcot.

Noirmally the ticket windows will open about one hour prior to Park opening. However, the Guest Relations Office (which also handles tickets) will open at least one half hour prior to any Guests being allowed in the Park.

Also, at the gates of the water parks and at two locations at Downtown Disney (Marketplace and West Side.)

You can also deal with most ticket matters (other than Annual Passes) at the lobby concierge desks or ticket windows at all the WDW resorts.

All Guest Relations windows can give you any of your Will Call tickets.
There are no "real" tickets sitting anywhere waiting for you.
GR simply calls up your e-ticket info on the computer and instantly prints tickets and hands them to you.

There are two Guest Relations offices at DTD.
One at the Marketplace and one on the West Side.

Marketplace:
Walk-up counter located between Team Mickey shop and Ghirardelli Chocolate, at the Rainforest Cafe side of the Marketplace.

The West Side:
Now at the Disney Quest location.

Guest relations Office (GRO) windows/counters at the parks open approx. 45-60 minutes before the scheduled opening time for the day (AM EMH included.)

GRO will remain open until most guests have departed, after closing time (PM EMH included.)

GROffices at DTD are open with the hours of DTD (until 11pm weeknights, 11:30pm on Fri. & Sat.)

Thanks alot Robo. Is their any advantage/disadvantage in upgrading my MYW to an AP before starting to use my MYW ticket? Thanks again!

None that I can think of, since you can simply upgrade the ticket minutes after using it to go into a Theme Park.

But, there really CAN be an advantage to using a MYW ticket to go into a Theme Park at least once before you upgrade it.

This is the case if you purchased the MYW tickets as part of a package, or from a ticket discounter, and/or if you are upgrading after a price increase.

I did buy my ticket through a discounted ticket broker but since their is no price on my ticket, will they be able to know how much I paid for it? Thanks again...!:thumbsup2

Disney absolutely KNOWS.

(And no, I'm not kidding.)

The info is accessible in the Disney computers via the numbers and magnetic stripe (if any) on your ticket.

Ok, so if I use one day on my MYW before purchasing the AP, they will deduct the current price of the MYW ticket but if I dont use one day on it, they will deduct the price I actually paid for the ticket over 2 years ago, is that correct?

Thanks again!!!!!! Thats really good to know!!!!:thumbsup2

Sorry, I have another question. We're only planning to go to Disney on August 1 but I want to take advantage of the coupon that gives 10% off a new AP so I need to do my upgrade before July 30. So, can I just enter, lets say HS, then leave right away and go to Guest relations and do my upgrade? Will that work?

Sure, or you can just go to the Guest Relations INSIDE the park.
(At DHS, it is to the far left of the gates, as you enter.)
