I looked to see the time it opens and it said during normal park hours. We have something to pick up there. Anyone have experience with this? Are the lines long & do we have to get there early and wait in line? Thanks for your comments.

On days when the park opens at 9:00AM (and/or offers AM EMH at 8:00AM) it will be staffed at about 7:30AM.

The same can be said of Guest Relations and ticket booths at TTC.

They should normally not be overly busy, especially the earlier you arrive.

I agree earlier is better. We got there mid day once our first day (couldn't be avoided) and the outside line was huge. We waited an hour and the ticket booth was just as long - in our case we could have gone to either. This wasn't even during peak season.

A quick trip to TTC via the monorail might have been in order.

We are a party of 8, with a 5 year old with Cerebral Palsy. Our first day is at MK, which has the early morning paid event. We need to go to guest relations to see about the disability service, and to upgrade tickets to AP's and get the TIW card. Would it be better to go to the TTC or MK guest relations, and what time should I plan to be there. We want be there for the opening show.

Thanks! :)

edited to say we are not going to the paid event!

You may want to also post on the disABILITIES Forum for helpful hits for your 5 year old. If mobility needs are your major issues, you may not qualify for the DAS card. There is lots of good info there for you.
As far as tickets and TiW card, you can do it wherever the line is shortest.
Good Luck

Thanks. He can walk, but the muscles in his legs are very stiff and he cannot stand for long periods. Mobility is not his main issue. He is on a feeding tube, with a very strict feeding schedule, and has sensory issues, just to name a few.

I don't want to waste a lot of time going from line to line, as we'll be taking the bus from Old Key West, and will not be near the TTC, unless we want/need to be.

Sounds like GR at MK will be it for us. Hopefully, the line will not be crazy!!

It would make sense for you to do your transactions a day in advance.
If that's not possible, then just ENTER MK using your existing tickets and begin your day.

After everyone has ridden an attraction or two, go to MK's City Hall (Guest Relations)
and get the AP upgrades done (all guests 18 yrs and older must be present.)
Ask about getting the TIW at that location. If they can't do it, just one of you needs to go out to the outside GR to get that card.

Thanks Robo. We are flying in the night before and arrive MCO at 7pm. Taking ME to OKW, so not sure what time we will get to the resort. I suppose we could go to a park that will still be open later in the evening and do the AP's/TIW. I know there's a GR at Disney Springs, but don't we have to use the tickets before we upgrade? Thanks! :flower3:

No.
Do the deed at DS.
Everyone 18 yrs and older must be present to do the AP upgrade.

Sweet! Wonder what time GR closes at DS? That sounds like the way to go!! Thanks Robo!! :hyper:

AFAIK, it closes no earlier than 10:30pm. (May be open until Midnight.)
There are TWO. One near Ghirardelli Chocolate and one in front of Disney Quest.
