Guest parking ?

I have guest visiting me on my stay at OKW. Are there any available parking space for them? Thanks.

The parking spaces at OKW are not numbered or anything for specific units. Every building has a parking lot, and in general, there are ample spaces to service that building, so it shouldn't be an issue.

We've never had a parking issue. Perhaps they may not get the space absolutely closest to your unit, but they will certainly not be walking 1/2 a mile either.

ETA-When we have had a guest come (myDSIL lives about 1.5 hours southeast of WDW) we usually call the security gate and let them know she is coming and give them her name. Not a requirement of having a guest visit, but we figure it smoothes the way.

I agree with Disney Doll about calling the front gate to let them know they are coming. Some units parking lots will be more crowded than others, but there will usually be a spot for them.

the only time I have ever found parking at OKW was difficult - was after 9/11/2001 - we went that Dec - and boy I never saw so many cars at OKW.

If I know ahead of time that guests might visit us while at OKW, I ask the CM to put a note in our reservation. I also will call the guard house prior to the guests' arrival. We have never had a problem.
