Guest badges and parade info needed

Hello,

First of all, I want to thank everyone who takes time to share their knowledge about WDW. My last trip was eight years ago and things have changed so much. We are going at the end of April with our two small children, so all of your advice has been so helpful.

My question is regarding the guest of honor badges. I have read that you can buy them at giftsofalifetime.com. I went to the site and noticed that the badges they offer are only Mickey Mouse. If I wait to purchase them at WDW, do they offer variations of the badge that can be made with specific names?

Also, where can I find the parades schedules? Are there certain parades not to miss or to skip?

We got our GOH badges at a little shop in Downtown Disney. I think our choices were Mickey, Minnie, Pooh, or Tigger. And yes, they'll make any name you need.

As for the parade schedules, I haven't did a search here recently for them, but I'm sure they're posted. If not, you can always find them on the park maps. The one parade we never miss is the Stars & Motorcars parade at MGM.

We got our GoH Badges at the DD Christmas shop. they are all the way in the back room. We did not have a choice of styles. They were red with Mickey on it. They have many names already made up, or, if you don't see your name there, they can do it within about 5 minutes.

Another good site for parade and show times is: http://pages.prodigy.net/stevesoares/index.htm

But, it only has the times for the current week. *Most* show times do not change much from week to week, unless there are holiday hours at the parks or something.

hi: there's also a shop in mgm that has the guest of honor badges with different characters. you can probably contact the main information number for merchandise to buy them directly. sorry, but i'm not sure what the number is. it's been posted here on these boards in the past. enjoy your vacation!
