Guarantee connecting rooms at DLH?

I know some hotels will not guarantee connecting rooms. Will the Disneyland hotel guarantee us connecting (not just next to each other, but with an internal door between) rooms?

We are traveling with 4 kids and find the connecting room setup works best for us. Otherwise, it's a suite, which is $$$ more.

If it is connecting for your kids they will find a way to do it. Just call a few days before and remind them...and make sure they know it's because you have young kids with you. My family always stayed onsite and always had connecting rooms...there were four of us kids too. :)

Thanks Krissy. I have had varied experiences with hotels around the west and what they will promise vs. deliver. I've never not actually gotten the rooms, but I didn't know what they would tell you upfront (or if anyone hadn't gotten the connecting rooms). The kids are 4, 7, 10, and 13.

DH stayed at the DLH once as a kid and has always dreamed of going back, so we are granting his wish on our next family trip this October. :) I know there are better (and cheaper) setups for families at offsite properties, but this is what I have to work with.

We want to do WDW with the kids in a couple years ... because of the rooms situation I am already checking out our options there to make sure we have a good setup without paying too much. No, I'm not too OCD, am I? :lmao:

Anyone else with connecting room experiences at DLH, PP, or GCH?
