Gty booking- worried about upgrade

Hi, First DC booked 05e GTY for the 4 of us. Mom decided she may want to come. Looked at moving my DD into her room so mom doesn't pay double for single. But now worrying if we do that we would have 3 ppl on paper in room but would need beds for 4 (DD would probably prefer to sleep with us most nights). What are the chances we would be upgraded to a room that only sleeps 3? Hope this is clear!

I believe you can request to not be upgraded, but I'm not sure if it's guaranteed.

If you are in GTY status, the "do not upgrade" is pretty much worth nothing. It was leftover from when I had a chosen room but switched to another chosen room then back to 8B when it had gone GTY. Ended up with their idea of an upgrade (to a 4E) which was fine, but not a cabin or category I'd ever select or ever want again.
