Depends on the cruise and category. It is not unusual for a VGT rate to be 1/2 the cost of a cat 7. On the other hand, an IGT may be only 25 off the rate of an 11C. Good luck--these are great bargains when they work in your schedule.

Wow. Half price of a cat 7 would be awesome!! We are looking at a sept cruise, so I think the chances of discounted rates are good

We booked the WBPC VGT yesterday for 2A2C. If we get a cat 6A, discount is 44%; get a 4A and it's 55%. Won't know for a few months.

There is a promotion right now for the Dream in September. On the 4-night itineraries, you can get a 7A with a $100 OBC for $599/person for the first two passengers. I'm not sure how much it would cost for additional passengers as I booked for two. The lowest category of outside room is $549 and the lowest category of inside room is $499. The promotion has been out for about a week now, so I'm not sure how much availability there is.

Gotcha. I bet there will be *GT rates when it gets closer. We booked a VGT on the Dream last Feb about 90 days out. Good luck!
